Caesars, Boyd Gaming promote properties on the Internet

Caesars Palace said it partnered with PlanSoft Corp. so meeting planners could use the Internet to find space and amenity information about the Las Vegas Strip resort.

Caesars said its www.caesars.com site includes a tour of the property, thumbnail views of Caesars' amenities, panoramic views of its rooms, meeting areas and the casino; sample floor plans and meeting room dimensions and information.

"This online resource makes it extremely easy for meeting planners and other professionals to familiarize themselves with, and create a unique Caesars experience, for their clients," said Caesars' John Yaskin, vice president of sales. "Our ... staff will help develop planners' initial research into a comprehensive package."

Separately, Boyd Gaming Corp. of Las Vegas launched its new corporate web site, http://www.boydgaming.com.

It features the company's history, mission and executive bios; entertainment profiles for each of Boyd's 11 properties with direct links to make hotel reservations; Boyd news releases and investor information; and information on Boyd's Honolulu travel agency, Vacations Hawaii.

Boyd Gaming's home page is hyper-linked with the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority's web site, http://www.lasvegas24hours.com, which has listings of Las Vegas events.
