Neubert was reported missing in September by his mother, a Boise, Idaho, resident. Neubert last had contact with his family on July 15 when he left Florida for Boise, police said.
Relatives said Neubert was depressed and suicidal.
His remains were found Sept. 29 in a ravine just off a hiking trail at the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Neubert's backpack containing his identification was found on the hiking trail in July.
The cause of death has not been determined.
