Even the resources of the du Pont family fortune apparently cannot get Christopher Moseley out of jail while he awaits trial in Las Vegas on federal charges stemming from an August slaying.
U.S. Magistrate Roger Hunt ordered Monday that Moseley, 58, of Centerville, Del., the husband of du Pont family heiress Lisa Dean Moseley, 69, remain in custody.
Moseley has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Las Vegas on a conspiracy charge in connection with the contract killing of 45-year-old Patricia Margello, the girlfriend of his stepson.
Her body was found stuffed in an air conditioning duct at the Del Mar Motel on Aug. 5.
