Brief: Industry poll finds support for gambling

A national survey of 1,200 people conducted by American Viewpoint Inc. found 67 percent approve of legalized gaming -- an increase from 62 percent last year.
Three of four (76 percent) approve of bingo and more than seven of ten (72 percent) approve of lotteries, GTECH said.
American Viewpoint, of Alexandria, Va., said the margin of error of the survey is plus or minus 2.9 percent.
