The probation officer, whose name was not released, was placed on paid administrative leave, pending the police investigation, KTNV Channel 13 reported Thursday.
KTNV reported that the officer gave the girl a pager so he could keep in contact with her. He is also accused of falsifying documents so he could be alone with the girl and spending time with her at the Del Mar Motel, the news station said.
Police said the officer could face a statutory sexual seduction charge.
