Daniel Bruno, 75, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. He was born Feb. 28, 1923, in Youngstown, Ohio. A resident for 22 years, he was a Postal Service letter carrier for 15 years, a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War Navy veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Billie Herdter of Las Vegas and Johnnie Foster of Michigan; two sisters, Connie Martin of Ohio and Bridget Moroney of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Lou Bruno of Pennsylvania and Anthony Bruno of Florida; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to Vista Hospice Care, 1830 E. Sahara Ave., Suite 102, Las Vegas.

SALVATORE 'TOTTO' CASTIGLIONE

Salvatore "Totto" Castiglione, 86, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local health care center. He was born Jan. 21, 1912, in Sicily. A resident for 51 years, he was a retired captain at a gourmet restaurant, a World War II veteran, a charter member of the Italian-American Club, a member of the Culinary Union and the Captains Golf Tournament.

He is survived by his wife, Lena; and three sisters, Josie Griffith and Connie Filippelli, both of Henderson, and Marrion Daniels of Las Vegas; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was scheduled 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. services today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., followed by graveside services in Palm Memorial Park.

PAULA CLAYTON

Paula Clayton, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 4, 1915, in Monroe County, Ky. A resident for 16 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Wendell; two daughters, Barbara Ann Davis of Deerfield, Ill., and Mary Saffel of Las Vegas; two sons, James W. Clayton of San Diego and William Thomas Clayton of Washington Island, Wis.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled 10 a.m.-noon today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

LESTER E. CORCORAN

Lester E. Corcoran, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 4, 1915, in Canada. A resident for 45 years, he was a manager for a credit collection firm, an Army Air Corps veteran, past president of the Lions Club and officer in the Elks Club.

He is survived by two sons, John H. Corcoran and Tom Corcoran, both of Las Vegas; one daughter, JoAnn Roberts of California; and five grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

JASON LEE FIELDS

Jason Lee Fields, 2, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 22, 1995, in Nevada.

He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Gail; one brother, Thomas; and two sisters, Brianna and Christine.

Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

PHYLLIS JEAN GILLIAM

Phyllis Jean Gilliam, 43, of Elk River, Idaho, died Monday in an Idaho hospital. She was born Nov. 28, 1954, in Roswell, N.M. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a bartender, a former dealer and had attended school in Las Vegas.

She is survived by three children, Adam Brubaker, Angel Gilliam and Ace Gilliam, all of Elk River; her parents, Jan and Ronald Hughes of Las Vegas; her mother, Joy Vaught of Middleton, Idaho; one sister, Pam Richey of Boise, Idaho; and her grandmother, Daisy Bailey of Middleton.

A local memorial service is being planned. Short's Funeral Chapel, Moscow, Idaho, is handling arrangements.

NORMAN B. LUNDY

Norman B. Lundy, 60, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 24, 1937, in Chicago. A resident for nine years, he was a truck driver and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife,, Marilou; one stepson, Byron Clute of Michigan; and one brother, Fred Lundy of Las Vegas.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. until a 4 p.m. services Saturday in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.

JOSEFINA C. MORALES

Josefina C. Morales, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born March 19, 1919, in Progreso, Guatemala. A resident for four years, she was a hotel housekeeper.

She is survived by two sons, Manuel J. Davila and Horacio Davila; two daughters, Marta Davila and Lucinda Davila-Sarti; one sister, Blanca Luz Morales; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A rosary and visitation will be 6:30 p.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 8 a.m. Saturday in Boulder City Cemetery.

RONALD PRADON JR.

Ronald Pradon Jr., 38, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born May 15, 1960, in Columbus, Ga. A resident for 30 years, he was a waiter.

He is survived by his parents, Matthew and Mary Dades Jones of Las Vegas; and his father, Ronald Pradon Sr. of Panama City, Fla.

Visitation will continue until 6 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

ALENE PRESS

Alene Press, 71, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born May 12, 1927, in Albuquerque, N.M. A resident for 36 years, she was a volunteer receptionist at the Zelzah Shrine Temple for nine years, a member of the Daughters of the Nile and Honored Ladies.

She is survived by two sons, John Press and Maurice Press, and one daughter, Janet Press, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Winnie Sturm of Downey, Calif.; one brother, Ed Kelley of Albuquerque; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

The family suggests donations to the Zelzah Shrine Temple Crippled Children's Transportation Fund, 2222 W. Mesquite Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89106.

JOSEPHINE ROBERTS

Josephine Roberts, 76, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born Aug. 11, 1922, in Kentucky. A resident for two months, she was an assembly line worker for a manufacturer.

She is survived by one son, Johnny Whitt of Las Vegas; one daughter, Phyllis Johnson of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; one brother, Bill Roberts of Hesperia, Calif.; one sister, Sally Hartman of Ohio; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

BRITTANY ANNE SHEAHAN

Brittany Anne Sheahan, 11, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 6, 1987, in St. Paul, Minn. A GATE honor student and a very loving daughter, she will be missed by her family.

She is survived by her parents, John and Heidi Sheahan, one brother, Michael Sheahan, and one sister, Kira Sheahan, all of Henderson; her grandparents, Michael and Charlene Sheahan of Woodbury, Minn., and Joseph and Gretchen Lindau of Osceola, Wis.; and her great-grandmother, Ruth Schermerhorn.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Sunday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9 a.m. Monday in Green Valley Lutheran Church. Burial will be in St. Paul.

ALEXANDER SIMPSON

Alexander Simpson, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 15, 1913, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 15 years, he was a machinist and World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one brother, Robert Simpson; and five sisters, Flourence Evans of New Jersey, Helen Ranieri of Las Vegas, Betty Zima and Teressa Reggbluto, both of Pennsylvania, and Marie Bieferi of New Jersey.

Services will be noon Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

JAN P. TERRACCIANO

Jan P. Terracciano, 40, of Las Vegas died Sept. 21 in Las Vegas. He was born June 9, 1958, in Illinois. A resident for 18 years he was a hotel cook.

He is survived by one son, Phillip Terracciano, his father, James Terracciano, and one brother, James Terracciano Jr., all of California; and one sister, Kerri Reiger of Las Vegas.

SHIRLEY WIESHLOW

Shirley Wieshlow, 61, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born May 31, 1937, in Calgary, Alberta. A resident for 23 years, she was a retired hospital telephone operator.

She is survived by her husband, Larry; two daughters, Heather Wieshlow and Lori Wieshlow, both of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; and one sister, Evelyn Scott of Calgary.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 3 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
