Nevada officials ponder how to move X-33 spacecraft

The craft must be moved back to Lockheed Martin launch facilities in California from landing sites in Montana and Utah at the end of 15 upcoming test flights.
The X-33 is a half-scale test version of the VentureStar space craft, which is designed to eventually launch satellites into orbit.
The X-33 is too tall and too wide for overpasses on some Nevada roads. Tom Stephens, director of the Nevada Department of Transportation, said his staff met with VentureStar officials this week to look for answers.
Test flights are scheduled to begin next year.
