John D. Alexander, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local health care center. He was born Jan. 2, 1925, in Chicago. A resident for two years, he was a wholesale beverage driver for 25 years, a World War II Army veteran and a member of Teamsters Local 744.
He is survived by one daughter, Michele Alexander of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to Odyssey Harbor House, 4011 McLeod Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89121.
Amber Renee Bates
Amber Renee Bates, 24, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born April 10, 1974, in Garden City, Kan. A resident for 1 1/2 years, she was a deli service clerk.
She is survived by one son, James Cody Dillard of Salt Lake City; one daughter, Samantha Renee Bates of North Las Vegas; her mother, Paula Ablang of North Las Vegas; her father, DeVerle Van Campen, and two brothers, James Trever Van Campen and Cort William Van Campen, all of Harlowton, Mont.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Clayton E. 'Bud' Fast
Clayton E. 'Bud' Fast, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 16, 1926, in Crystal City, Mo. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired Army drill instructor and a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; one daughter, Cynthia Fast of Las Vegas; two sons, Arthur Fast of Broomfield, Colo., and Clayton Fast of Parker, Colo.; one sister, Lucy Runion of Wood River, Ill.; one brother, Norman Fast of Evergreen Park, Ill.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Jon Bushallow Gregory Jr.
Jon Bushallow Gregory Jr., 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 29, 1919, in Auburn, N.Y. A resident for 29 years, he was a longtime choreographer, producer and director and founded the Jon Gregory Talent Center.
He is survived by one daughter, Jenna G. Stevenson of Henderson; one son, Chris B. Gregory of Hollywood, Calif.; two brothers, Thomas D. Bushallow of Auburn and Davis S. Bushallow of Kensington, Md.; two sisters, Irene B. Stanley of Syracuse, N.Y.; numerous nieces and nephews; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. trasigion prayer service at Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Paul the Apostle Orthodox Church, 5400 Annie Oakley Drive. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Jacqueline H. Heyer
Jacqueline H. Heyer, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local health care center. She was born June 14, 1926, in Portland, Maine. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth Young of Las Vegas; her mother, Ann Lord of Worcester, Mass.; two sisters, Susan Aucock of Worcester and Emily Grenier of Berkeley, Calif.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Clarence Holmes
Clarence Holmes, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born May 3, 1929, in Tender, La. A resident for 48 years, he was retired from the Riviera hotel-casino as a maintenance engineer after 23 years.
He is survived by his wife, Edna; six sons, Clarence Holmes Jr., Ronnie Holmes, Raymond Holmes and Wilford Henderson, all of Las Vegas, and Terry Holmes and Jerry Holmes, both of Detroit; five daughters, Debra Dorsey, Sandra Grayson, Deborah Harris, Shirlend Jones and Sheila Jones, and his mother, Kittie Young, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Daisy Lee Jackson of North Las Vegas; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be noon Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Robert Edward Klinkner
Robert Edward Klinkner, 87, of Boulder City died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 1, 1911, in Los Angeles. A Boulder City resident for 20 years, he was an investor.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma; one son, Donald E. Klinkner; and two grandchildren.

Thomas M. Pape Sr.
Thomas M. Pape Sr., 56, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 6, 1942, in New Castle, Pa. A resident for 25 years, he was a pipe fitter, a Vietnam War Army veteran and a member of Pipe Fitters Union Local 525.
He is survived by his wife, Susanne; one daughter, Tammy Romero of Las Vegas; two sons, Thomas Pape Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., and Tim Pape of Las Vegas; his mother, Helen Iorio of New Castle, Pa.; three sisters, Joann Lavender of Columbiana, Ohio, and Maureen Duncan and Carol Moses, both of New Castle; three brothers, Edward Pape of New Castle, Hugh Pape of Edinberg, Pa., and Jim Pape of Indianapolis; and four grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. services today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Gilmore Thomas Paquet
Gilmore Thomas Paquet, 69, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local health care center. He was born June 22, 1929, in Illinois. A resident for one year, he was a truck driver and a Korean War Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; two sons; two daughters; two stepdaughters, Kartherine Truax of Lake Isabella, Calif., and Carolyn Goff of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Deanna Reese
Deanna Reese, 60, of Springdale, Utah, died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 17, 1938, in Milford, Utah. A former Las Vegas resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Gayle; one daughter, Gaylynn Hales of Las Vegas; three sons, Michael Reese and Scott Reese, both of Las Vegas, and Craig Reese of San Diego; her parents, Alice and Henry Harriman of St. George, Utah; two sisters, Elaine Beckus of San Jose, Calif., and Margaret Kotta of Forestville, Calif.; one brother, Dennis Alfred of Cedar City, Utah; and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday with services following at 11 a.m. in the LDS Monte Cristo Ward. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Lovica Bernice 'Lou' Richter
Lovica Bernice 'Lou' Richter, 80, of Boulder City died Friday in a local hospital. She was born March 14, 1918, in Homer, Ill. A resident for 46 years, she was a retired hotel clerk
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia A. Martin of Henderson; one son, Bernard Paul Richter Jr. of Boulder City; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Entombment will be in Palm Mausoleum. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Frances Lucille Scott
Frances Lucille Scott, 60, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 4, 1938, in Kentucky. A resident for 3 1/2 years, she was a pharmaceutical clerk.
She is survived by three sons, Terry Hoosier Hobbs, Kerry G. Hearington Hobbs and D.J. Norton Hobbs, and one daughter, Aurora West, all of New Mexico; and two granddaughters.

Fred L. Van Sickle
Fred L. Van Sickle, 89, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born Oct. 9, 1909, in Leeds, Iowa. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired owner-operator of Nevada Drug in Boulder City from 1971-1981, a member of Boulder City Elks and a longtime avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy J.; one daughter, Patricia Ellen Pals of Orange City, Iowa; one son, Larry C. Van Sickle of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Norma J. White
Norma J. White, 63, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 21, 1935, in Kansas City, Mo. A resident for 18 years, she was a retired executive casting director in the television industry.
She is survived by her husband, Paul E. Jr.; four daughters, Sherry Wilson, Tammy Wilson, Barbara Reeves and Ruth Bernard, all of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Annie Wooten
Annie Wooten, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 16, 1920, in Ireland. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired secretary in the liquor industry.
She is survived by one son, Albert Wooten of Henderson; one sister, Elizabeth Davis of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
