Wednesday night's move comes after the city planning commission voted unanimously to approve the project by NevStar Gaming and Entertainment Corp.
NevStar Chairman Michael Signorelli said the company may look elsewhere for a location to build the project. Included would be a 200-room hotel, a 37,000-square-foot casino, a bowling center, movie theater, fitness center, retail complex, video arcade and restaurants.
