Brief: Smoke causes hotel evacuation

Las Vegas firefighters responded to find a shorted out alarm clock that smoldered and caused the 10th floor hallway to fill with smoke, department spokesman Tim Szymanski said.
There were no injuries and the guest in the room where the fire started was not in the room at the time.
