The Casino Control Commission said the Showboat failed to keep adequate records of slot drop from March 11 through July 7, 1977, the Press of Atlantic City newspaper reported. The casino was fined a total of nearly $75,000 for similar violations in 1994 and 1995.
Showboat, which was acquired this year by Harrah's Entertainment, admitted to the latest violations and fired three financial executives.
