Cheryl Lynn Atherley, 41, of Boulder City died Friday in Boulder City. She was born July 3, 1957, in Cedar City, Utah. She was a waitress at McCarran International Airport.

She is survived by two daughters, Heather Henderson of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Sara Collins of Henderson; three sons, Shawn Henderson and Jeremy Henderson, both of Apache Junction, and Lewis "Bubba" Collins of Henderson; her parents, Ted and Yvonne Atherley of Kanab, Utah; one sister, Debbie Jones of Cedar City; one brother, Luke Atherley of St. Johns, Ariz.; several nieces and nephews; and one grandson.

Services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in the Neighborhood Church, 207 W. Basic Road, Henderson. Graveside services will be in Utah. Mosdell Mortuary, Kanab, is handling arrangements.

Lori J. Banco

Lori J. Banco, 33, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born July 5, 1965, in San Bernardino, Calif. A resident for six years, she was a pharmacy technician, a graduate of San Bernardino Valley College in 1991, a past honored Queen of Job's Daughters Bethel 104 in Redlands, Calif.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; two daughters, Sara Maxine Banco and Rachel Elizabeth Banco, both of Henderson; her father, Robert McInnes Sr. of Pahrump; one sister, Kim Niess of Las Vegas; one brother, Robert McInnes Jr. of Salinas, Calif.; and her grandmother, Maxine McInnes of Redlands.

Visitation is scheduled 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursday followed by 2 p.m. services in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, handled arrangements.

Harry Gene Bates

Harry Gene Bates, 74, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born July 20, 1924, in Kansas. A resident for 12 years, he was a post office mail clerk and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one brother, Ralph Bates of Manteca, Calif.

Graveside services will be 8:30 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Ella Calaguire

Ella Calaguire, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born March 13, 1926, in Michigan. A resident for 12 years, she was a hotel banquet waitress.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen Torino of Roselle Park, N.J., and Lynn Kelly of Henderson; two sons, John Calaguire and Albert Calaguire, both of Howell, N.J.; two sisters, Norma Knudson and Carol Sears; four brothers, Herbert Shaw, Frank Shaw, Artie Shaw and Bobby Ruscansky; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Sunday in the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Jessie Rose Carini

Jessie Rose Carini, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born July 27, 1912, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Mae McGowan and Frances Lamoreaux, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Carmella Falcone of California and Rose Ward of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. services Thursday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. is handling arrangements.

Roy P. Cline

Roy P. Cline, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 12, 1924, in Staunton, Va. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War Navy veteran, a member of the Teamsters Union, the Masons for 44 years and the Shriners for 42 years.

He is survived by his wife, Katharine L.; one son, Roy Edward Cline of Park City, Utah; one daughter, Rebecca S. Nittle of Phoenix; one brother; two sisters; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Phyllis M. Creel

Phyllis M. Creel, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 1, 1920, in Detroit. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, David Andrews and Jim Andrews, both of California; three daughters, Sara Mildebrandt of Las Vegas, Anita Brooks of California and Judy Lepire of Carson City; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled from 2-3:30 p.m. services today in Hites Funeral Home Chapel, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson.

Rachel Yvonne Edmondson

Rachel Yvonne Edmondson, 30, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 8, 1968, in California. A resident for 29 years, she was a dealer.

She is survived by one daughter, Megan McCown of Las Vegas; her fiance, David Himmelheber; her father, Otis Hale of California; her mother, Catherine Henry of Henderson; one brother, Jason Henry and one sister, Shawna Brown, both of Las Vegas; and her grandmother, Sue Constantine of Prescott, Ariz.

Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m.-midnight Thursday and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. services Friday in Hites Funeral Home Chapel, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial will follow in Davis Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Djordje Kostic

Djordje Kostic, 56, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born March 4, 1942, in Yugoslavia. A resident for 24 years, he was a bookkeeper in the transportation industry.

He is survived by one sister, Zaga Kulasinovic of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Simeon Serbian Orthodox Church. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

Helen Manning

Helen Manning, 41, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 17, 1956, in Proctor, Ark. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, John H.; one son, Anthony Gardner, Sr., and one daughter, Renee Gardner, both of Las Vegas; her parents Roosevelt and Kathy Robinson of North Las Vegas; four brothers, Timothy Fraizer of St. Louis and Roy Fraizer, Johnny Robinson and Michael Robinson, all of Las Vegas; four sisters, Patricia Jackson and Sandra Robinson, both of Las Vegas, Carolyn Robinson of North Las Vegas and Angela Robinson of Oakland, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Thursday at American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services are scheduled noon Friday. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Evelyn M. Richardson

Evelyn M. Richardson, 89, of Boulder City died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born July 20, 1909, in Flint, Mich. A resident for 27 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one niece of Long Beach, Calif.

Jack 'Hunka' Saltzman

Jack "Hunka" Saltzman, 85, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 17, 1913, in Chelsea, Mass. A resident for 32 years, he was a retired hotel doorman.

He is survived by his wife, Edith; one daughter, Tobie Buccieri of Las Vegas; three sisters, Anita Snider of Hadden Heights, N.J., and Trudy Ellers and Jean Lightner, both of Brookline, Mass.; and one grandchild.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Gladys L. Stephens

Gladys L. Stephens, 91, of North Las Vegas died Friday in North Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 13, 1907, in Baudette, Minn. A resident for 62 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Oasis Rebekah Lodge 31 of Las Vegas.

She is survived by two sons, Dr. Ralph W. Stephens of Reno and David E. Stephens of Concord, Mass.; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Lina Troutman

Lina Troutman, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local health care center. She was born Aug. 15, 1911, in Lockport, N.Y. A resident for three years, she was a retired registered nurse.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Munger of Henderson; one son, John Troutman of South Lake Tahoe, Calif.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Romulo M. Trujillo

Romulo M. Trujillo, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born Sept. 23, 1922, in Manilla, Philippines. A resident for 25 years, he was an aircraft mechanic for the Air Force.

He is survived by nine daughters, Rowena Redmond of Florida, Rosalinda Trujillo, Regina Sicat, Felicitas Trujillo, Normita Salazar, Monica Miley, Lorena Santiago, Dolores Shelly and Stephanie Salas, all of Las Vegas; two sons, Romulo Trujillo Jr. of Los Angeles and Mario Trujillo of the Philippines; one sister; and 13 grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church.

Melba 'Ruth' Walker

Melba 'Ruth' Walker, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born May 30, 1920, in Ririe, Idaho. A resident for two years, she was a retired spacecraft inspector.

She is survived by three sons, David Rosenthal and Daniel Rosenthal, both of California, and Ronnie Valenta of Idaho; two daughters, Diane Blank and Donna Shuck, both of Idaho; three sisters, Naomi Grest, Opal Marr and Ada May Smith, all of California; and seven grandchildren, including her granddaughter, Roxanne Wegner and her husband, Kenneth Wegner with whom she resided.

Pastor Roy Wilson

Pastor Roy Wilson, 65, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 21, 1933, in Claremore, Okla. A resident for 20 years, he was a pastor for Lamb Boulevard Missionary Baptist Church for 20 years and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley A.; two sons, Alan Wesley Wilson and David Roy Wilson, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Elda Day and Bert Moore, and two brothers, William Wilson and Bobby Wilson, all of Oklahoma; and two grandchildren.

Services are scheduled 2 p.m. Thursday in Lamb Boulevard Missionary Baptist Church, 500 N. Lamb Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations be made to the Lamb Boulevard Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund.
