StumbleState agency cites health care facility

The Emmanuel Health Care Center was cited for 13 complaints by the state Bureau of Licensure and Certification in October.
The nursing home, at 2035 W. Charleston Blvd., agreed to make all necessary corrections uncovered during the Oct. 6-8 survey. They included, in part:
"We didn't find any actual harm to the residents," said Sonya King, a health facilities surveyor with the Bureau of Licensure and Certification.
Emmanuel Health's last survey was in July 1997. Another was conducted in September 1996. Both surveys, King said, showed that residents were not in danger.
