H. Earl Boone, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 30, 1926, in Bradshaw, Texas. A resident for 20 years, he was a World War II Navy veteran, a retired electronics technician, a member of the Retired Officers Association and Navy Mutual Aid Association.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Ann; one daughter, Lou Ann Boone of Las Vegas; one sister, Raye Bendel of Arlington, Texas; and one brother, Troy Boone of San Antonio.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Robert P. Braner Jr.
Robert P. Braner Jr., 51, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 15, 1947, Munich, Germany. A resident for 40 years, he was an automotive salesman, an Army veteran and a member of his church choir.
He is survived by his wife, Christina; one son, Robert P. Braner III, his parents, Elizabeth M. and Robert P. Braner Sr., all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Vicky L. Homm and Dawn S. Workman, both of Las Vegas, and Becky A. Livingston of Jackson, N.J.; one brother, Terry D. Braner of Camp Verde, Ariz.; aunts, uncles, cousins; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Wednesday in the First Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 301 S. Maryland Parkway. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Marion Louise Bromley
Marion Louise Bromley, 88, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 3, 1910, in Michigan. A resident for 46 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by four sons, Gerald Bromley and Thomas Frederich, both of Las Vegas, Joseph Henry Bromley and Peter Bromley; one sister, Margaret Saunders of Michigan; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Madeline Elizabeth Cusimano
Madeline Elizabeth Cusimano, 89, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born March 17, 1909, in San Jose, Calif. A resident for nine years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Darlene Catello, and two sons, Richard Cusimano and Larry Cusimano, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Mario Giordano of Las Vegas and Frank Giordano of Walla Walla, Wash.; one sister, Lee Ourdoune of Modesto, Calif.; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. services today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be in San Jose.
The family suggests donations to St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, NV 89119, or the Green Valley Christian Center, Valle Verde, Henderson.
William S. Fay
William S. Fay, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born April 2, 1915, in New York City. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired taxicab driver.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; one son, William A. Fay of Floral Park, N.Y.; one daughter, Barb Ada Fay of Las Vegas; one sister, Joan Bajardi of Flushing, N.Y.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

John Thomas Fullinwider
John Thomas Fullinwider, 78, of Henderson died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born in Denver and recently moved to the Henderson area. He had a career with IBM, International Harvester and Bechtel Corp., was a second lieutenant in the Army Air Corps during World War II, enjoyed coin collecting, bridge, golf, investing and traveling.
He is survived by one son, Jon of Sierra Madre, Calif.; one daughter, Judy of Temecula, Calif.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Leo Hunt
Leo Hunt, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born April 27, 1914, in Goff, Kan. A resident for four months, he was a retired electrician for an airline.
He is survived by two sisters, Myrth Black of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Dorothy Seifers of Las Vegas; one brother, Charles Hunt of Twin Falls; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Lawerence S. King
Lawerence S. King, 51, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born March 4, 1947, in Fall River, Mass. A resident for 31 years, he was a senior groundskeeper for the parks department.
He is survived by his wife, Sharmane; one son, Lawerence King Jr., and one daughter, Theresa King, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Louis King of California and Roy King of Washington state; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Sara H. McDonald
Sara H. McDonald, 81, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Aug. 1, 1917, in Poland. A resident for four years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, William J.; one son, James A. McDonald of San Pedro, Calif.; and two brothers, Louis Greenbaum of Overland Park, Kan., and Benjamin Greenbaum of Kansas City, Mo.
Visitation is scheduled 3 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
Michael Mercado
Michael Mercado, 55, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born Dec. 20, 1942, in New Jersey. A resident for many years, he was a casino bartender.
He is survived by two sisters, Maureen Mercado of Henderson and Carol Centanni of New Jersey.

James Nicola
James Nicola, 74, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 3, 1924, in Worcester, Mass. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired vending machine operator and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; two sons, Jim Nicola of Las Vegas and Nick Nicola of Nipomo, Calif.; four daughters, Betty Michlis and Toni Holmes, both of Las Vegas, Patsy Hill of Birmingham, Ala., and Cathy Carlisle of Moody, Ala.; one brother, William Nicola of Philadelphia; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St., followed by graveside services in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Dean Ritter
Dean Ritter, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born March 23, 1921, in Leal, N.D. A resident for five years, he was a retired property title researcher, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8.
He is survived by family in Washington state and many caring cousins and friends.

Marjorie Sims
Marjorie Sims, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 11, 1919, in Burke, S.D. A resident for 48 years, she was a retired owner-operator of a bar/restaurant.
She is survived by one sister, Dorothy Musso of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 3-6 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Anne Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Rita Schetselaar
Rita Schetselaar, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 11, 1925, in Zevenbergen, Holland. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired restaurateur.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Hans; one son, Ady Schetselaar of Canyon Lake, Calif.; one brother, Anton Schakel of Spain; and two grandchildren.

Beatrice Solmin
Beatrice Solmin, 76, of Henderson died Saturday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 26, 1921, in New York. A resident for many years, she was an executive secretary for the Clark County School District.
She is survived by one daughter, Jacqueline Khoury, and one son, Stewart Solmin, both of Henderson.

Albert R. Sumner Jr.
Albert R. Sumner Jr., 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local health care center. He was born Jan. 13, 1925, in Kansas. A resident for 13 years, he was a truck driver and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his mother, Blanche Norris; and two sisters, Mary Sumner and Margaret Heminger.
A memorial service will be 10:45 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Minnie K. Hirth Thompson
Minnie K. Hirth Thompson, 94, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A resident for 11 years, she was born Dec. 23, 1903, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
She is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Monahan of Highland, N.Y.; two sons, Walter Thompson and Richard Thompson, both of Las Vegas; 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Gerald R. Vickery
Gerald R. Vickery, 56, of Penn Yan, N.Y., died Oct. 1 in a New York medical center. He was born Jan. 6, 1942, in Penn Yan. A former Las Vegas resident for 20 years until 1995, he was a retired Air Force technical sergeant and had been last stationed at Nellis Air Force Base, did two tours in Vietnam, was a member of the Black Powder Club and its Keuka Lake Renegades in Penn Yan and was an avid bowler.
He is survived by two sons, William D. Warren of Minneapolis and Carl K. Warren of Tallahassee, Fla.; one daughter, Beth Ann Rice of Rocky Mount, N.C.; his father and stepmother, Richard C. and Amy Vickery; three brothers, Richard J. Vickery of Penn Yan, Donald C. Vickery of Bath, N.Y., and George C. Vickery of Hammondsport, N.Y.; a companion, Gwen Hall of Penn Yan; and several nieces and nephews.

Nethyl Hester Watkins
Nethyl Hester Watkins, 82, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born June 6, 1916, in Tuscumbia, Ala. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Lemons of Las Vegas and Kay Bauer of Austin, Texas; one brother, Eldon Hester of Muscle Shoals, Ala.; six grandchildren and five grandchildren.
Burial will be in Texas. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.
