John K. Adams, 69, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 21, 1928, in London. A resident for 35 years, he was a retired hotel executive chef, a Royal Marine commandos veteran of the Korean War, educational chairman of the board of directors of Fraternity of Executive Chefs, past director and chairman of Culinary Arts Show, past board member for International Food Service Executives Association and past secretary, newsletter editor and chairman/co-editor of Chefs of Las Vegas Cookbook.
He is survived by his wife, Lila; one son, John Adams of Las Vegas; and four daughters.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Rose Blanco
Rose Blanco, 76, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 7, 1921, in Topeka, Kan. A resident for 18 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Manuel; two sons, Raymond Blanco and Manuel Blanco Jr., both of Las Vegas; two daughters, Josephine Garrison of Las Vegas and Mary Louise Goble of Fairway, Kan.; three sisters, Florence Rodriguez and Camerina Ayala, both of Topeka, and Concepcion Padilla of Kansas City, Kan.; two brothers, Joe Guadalupe Arreguin of Hayward, Calif., and David Arreguin of Topeka; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
No local services are scheduled. Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa, Kan., is handling arrangements.
Enrique Cordova
Enrique Cordova, 46, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in North Las Vegas. He was born July 1, 1952, in Mexico. A resident for 10 years, he was a construction worker.
He is survived by his wife, Lucila; one son, Aaron Cordova, and two daughters, Juana Cordova and Rosa Cordova, all of North Las Vegas; six brothers, Dionizio Cordova, Refugio Cordova, Severiano Cordova and Ignacio Cordova, all of Chicago, and Eliazat Cordova and Luis Cordova, both of Mexico; and two sisters, Guadalupe Cordova and Juana Cordova, both of Mexico.
Visitation will continue until 5 p.m. today in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Sophia A. Eisner
Sophia A. Eisner, 100, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born April 28, 1898, in San Francisco. A resident for 18 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Robert A. Eisner of Sacramento, Calif.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Warren Wesley Fink
Warren Wesley Fink, 55, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born June 15, 1943, in Norwich, Conn. A resident for 10 years, he was a hotel baker and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Christine Arneson and Keeli Fink, both of Las Vegas; one son, Dan Rhodes of Santa Cruz, Calif.; two brothers, Allan Fink of Alabama and George Blatsos of New York state; and two grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
John V. George
John V. George, 60, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 9, 1938, in Hazelton, Pa. A resident for one year, he was a retired manager of a manufacturing plant.
He is survived by one son, John K. George of Las Vegas; two daughters, Kathy Misiti of Bloomsburg, Pa., and Kelly Keefer of Berwick, Pa.; one brother, Jerome George of Santa Monica, Calif.; one sister, Kathy Binkley of Bristol, Pa.; and seven grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Donald Porter Hall
Donald Porter Hall, 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 15, 1925, in Ohio. A resident for 15 years, he was an aviation technician.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; one brother, Howard Bernard Hall, one niece, Jane Vasu, and one nephew, Howard Bernard Hall Jr., all of Ohio.
Burial will be in Florida. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Sheila Maria Jones
Sheila Maria Jones, 30, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday. She was born May 19, 1968, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Danielle Jones and Cherie Jones, one son, Ronnie Richardson Jr., her parents, James C. and Ada Jones, one sister, Belinda Jones, and one brother, James C. Jones Jr., all of North Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the Second Baptist Church, 500 W. Madison Ave. Graveside services will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mary Lorraine 'Rainy' Kernan
Mary Lorraine 'Rainy' Kernan, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 14, 1922, in Syracuse, N.Y. A resident for 16 years, she was a retired freelance artist.
She is survived by one sister, Janine E. Doddy-LaMar of Las Vegas.

Jesse Lee James Minor
Jesse Lee James Minor, 17, of Las Vegas died Saturday. He was born Aug. 26, 1981, in Las Vegas. He was a Mojave High School student.
He is survived by his father, Floyd S. Minor of Montana; his mother, Vicki A. Minor, one brother, Matthew M. Minor, and one sister, Kristen M.K. Minor, all of Las Vegas; and his grandmother, Velma C. Cohen of Las Vegas.
Services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.
James LaVerne Mullica Jr.
James LaVerne Mullica Jr., 64, of Des Moines, Iowa, died Thursday in a Des Moines hospice. He was born in Ames, Iowa. A former Las Vegas resident from 1969-1975, he was a self-employed magician under the name of "Ozzie Izzard the Wacky Wizard" and was an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Madeline; two sons, James L. Mullica III of Des Moines and James Peel of Ogden, Utah; six daughters, Barb Moore and Jennifer Howard, both of West Des Moines, Elizabeth Heard of Tacoma, Wash., Deborah Sterner of Silverthorne, Colo., Michelle Mullica of Saylor Township, Iowa, and Ann Klein of Ames; seven foster children; and 17 grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Hamilton's Funeral Home, Des Moines, is handling arrangements.
Johnny Pang
Johnny Pang, 48, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 15, 1950, in China. A resident for 10 years, he was a chef.
He is survived by his wife, Sui; his mother, one sister, and one brother, all of Hong Kong.
Visitation was scheduled two hours prior to 11 a.m. services today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services followed in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.
Raul Romero Sr.
Raul Romero Sr., 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born May 14, 1914, in El Paso, Texas. A resident for 30 years, he was a former member of the El Paso Symphony Orchestra.
He is survived by four sons, Raoul Romero Jr., Javier Romero, Mike Romero and Fernando Romero, and one daughter, Eva Romero Reid, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Francisco Romero of El Paso; one sister, Emilia of California; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Tuesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Anne Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Myron Snyder
Myron Snyder, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born Dec. 11, 1919, in Boston. A resident for seven years, he was a financial adviser, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Masons.
He is survived by his wife, Inez; two sons, Robert Snyder of Las Vegas and Paul Snyder of Boston; one daughter, Geannie Share of Orlando, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
Burial will be in Orlando. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
William H. Tueche
William H. Tueche, 77, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 24, 1920, in Monessen, Pa. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired furniture salesman and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Vera; one daughter, Lynn Henderson of Las Vegas; two sons, Terry Tueche of Youngstown, Ohio, and Robert Tueche of Warren, Ohio; one stepson, Larry Hicks of Cortland, Ohio; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Eugene Watson
Eugene Watson, 91, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 1, 1907, in New York City. A resident for five years, he was a retired publishing executive.
He is survived by one son, William; one daughter, Elizabeth Laitin of Torrance, Calif.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
