Brief: Teamsters win vote at Circus Circus
Monday, Nov. 9, 1998 | 2 a.m.
The vote will bring total Teamster 995 membership at the hotel-casino to 400 people working as valet parking attendants, front desk clerks, gardeners, warehouse workers, window cleaners and laborers, said Teamsters organizer Rob Rovere.
It was the third election win for the union in the past month. Excalibur hotel-casino retail shop clerks and Desert Inn hotel-casino laundry workers approved representation by the local last month. However, union representation was voted down in October at the Greyhound bus terminal.
