The blaze knocked out a few slot machines and caused some water damage in a restaurant of the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island.
"There was no disruption of operations. It was contained very quickly. Things are back to normal," said Assistant Police Commissioner Paul Farquharson.
The 23-story, 1,200-room resort was designed around the mythical lost continent of Atlantis. Its ritziest suites go for $25,000 a night.
