Community College president takes new job

Jim Randolph, president of the college in Carson City since July 1995, will become associate vice chancellor for finance and planning in the chancellor's office in Las Vegas.
But Randolph said he will remain in Carson City until an interim president is named.
Randolph's new job comes with a pay reduction.
As college president, he received an annual salary of $120,544 dollars, plus a $6,000 car allowance.
His new job pays $100,000.
