Tuesday, Nov. 3, 1998 | 2:33 a.m.

Big Dog Holdings Inc. sued Big Dog's Hospitality Group in U.S. District Court, alleging trademark infringement. Santa Barbara, Calif.-based Big Dog Holdings' alleges Big Dog's Hospitality Group is infringing on its line of Big Dog sportswear and various other items, known for the phrase "If you can't run with the Big Dogs, stay on the porch."

Big Dog's Hospitality Group runs Big Dog's Bar and Grill on North Nellis Boulevard and Big Dog's Cafe and Casino on West Sahara Avenue. The suit alleges those businesses are selling hats, T shirts and other apparel similar to the California company's trademarked products without authorization.
