Lee Beddia, 75, of Henderson died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 24, 1922, in New York City. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Salvatore; three sons, Ed Carman of Gastonia, N.C., James Beddia of New Rochelle, N.Y., and Bob Beddia of New York City; two daughters, Barbara Beddia of Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., and Susan Beddia of Henderson; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to the American Diabetes Association, 2785 E. Desert Inn Road, Suite 140, Las Vegas, NV 89121.
ELENA VICTORIA BYBEE
Elena Victoria Bybee, died Saturday, her date of birth, in Las Vegas.
She is survived by her mother, Shannon Bybee Jacobs.
Graveside services will be in Preston. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
CHARLES R. COOPER JR.
Charles R. Cooper Jr., 48, of Henderson died Wednesday. He was born April 25, 1950, in Fordyce, Ark. A resident for 48 years, he was a schoolteacher.
He is survived by two daughters, Maria Cooper of Las Vegas and Trishun Jackson of Fresno, Calif.; his father, Charles Cooper Sr. of Las Vegas; eight sisters, Brenda Cooper, Linda VanNorman, Vaneshia Cooper, Patricia Griffin and Julia Matlock, all of Las Vegas, Jacqueline Cooper of San Francisco, Mae Helen Hall of Fordyce and Jean McGhee of Stockton, Calif.; three brothers, Ralph Cooper and William Cooper, both of Las Vegas, and Larry Cooper of Irving, Texas; his grandmother, Julia Samual of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Zion Methodist Church, Revere and H streets. Graveside services will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
DELWYN 'DEL' EVERSON SR.
Delwyn "Del" Everson Sr., 56, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 30, 1941, in Platte, S.D. A resident for 22 years, he was part owner of Nevada Business Forms.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn Marie; one daughter, Michelle Tautaiolefue of Salt Lake City; three sons, Delwyn Everson Jr. of Salt Lake City, Shannon D. Everson of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Kelly D. Everson of Las Vegas; one sister, Marcea Vetscher of Farmington, Miss.; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
EMMA C. GENTILE
Emma C. Gentile, 91, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A resident for six years, she was born July 28, 1906, in Fondi, Italy.
She is survived by one son, Fausto M. Gentile, and one daughter, Maria A. Agresti, both of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Burial will be in Ithaca, N.Y. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
LEONARD P. GENTILE
Leonard P. Gentile, 65, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born April 15, 1933, in Louisville, Ky. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired Air Force chief master sergeant and a Korean War and Vietnam War veteran with 30 years of service. He worked for EG&G for 15 years in special projects.
He is survived by his wife, Saithong; one daughter, Donna Marie Gentile of West Haven, Utah; six sons, Leonard Gentile Jr. of Bardstown, Ky., Tim Gentile of Greensboro, Ohio, Michael Gentile of the Azores and Thana Gentile, John Gentile and Anthony P. Gentile, all of Las Vegas; his mother, Madeline Gentile of Mobile, Ala.; one brother, Anthony Gentile of Charlestown, Ind.; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Jones.
CHRISTIAN BOE HALE
Christian Boe Hale, 21, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. A resident for four years, he was born Jan. 9, 1977, in San Jose, Calif.
He is survived by his parents, Edward and Jean Hale, and one sister, Gretchen Hale, all of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
The family suggests donations to the Candlelighters for Childhood Cancer, 3201 S. Maryland Parkway, Suite 512, Las Vegas, NV 89109.
JUAN R. RAMIREZ SR.
Juan R. Ramirez Sr., 80, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in Miami. He was born June 24, 1917, in Mexico. A resident for 32 years, he was a retired laborer.
He is survived by four daughters, Trinidad Munoz of Las Vegas, Porfiria Gonzalez of North Las Vegas, Juana Hernandez of Miami and Magdalena Ramirez of North Las Vegas; two sons, Juan Manuel Ramirez of North Las Vegas and Francisco Ramirez of Henderson; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Rosary will be 6 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
THOMAS LOUIS SANTLABEN
Thomas Louis Santlaben, 44, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 26, 1953, in Uvalde, Texas. A resident for 10 years, he was a poet.
He is survived by his wife, Venetia; one daughter, Indrani Sardelli, his mother, Loretta Bukowski, two brothers, David Bukowski and Eric Mackey, and two sisters, Jerry Greer and Abbie Reagan, all of Las Vegas.
A memorial service including a poetry reading will be 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
The family requests blood donations in his memory.
JACK R. SITTON
Jack R. Sitton, 55, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 19, 1943, in Dallas. A resident for more than 30 years, he was a retired plumber and a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 525.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannie L.; four sons, Will Sitton, Robert Sitton, Jack Sitton Jr. and John Sitton, all of Las Vegas; one daughter, Angeline Brady of Okmulgee, Okla.; two brothers, Jerry Sitton of Levelland, Texas, and James Sitton of Sunray, Texas; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10-11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
DAVID L. WEBB
David L. Webb, 50, of Las Vegas died Thursday in San Bernardino, Calif. He was born July 17, 1947, in Bakersfield, Calif. A resident for 32 years, he was a probation supervisor for Clark County Juvenile Court and a member of the UNLV Basketball Hall of Fame for the 1967-68 season.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; three sons, Justin Webb, D.J. Webb and Micky Webb, two daughters, Summer Webb and Tara Webb, one stepson, Shaun Whitfield, and one stepdaughter, Shannon Whitfield, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Cheryl Marchel, and his grandmother, Ann Waltimire, both of Bakersfield.
Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
