INSIDE 'KOKOPELLI DREAM' -- Daniel Hamilton will play a variety of hand-crafted Native American love flutes during Friday's 7:30 p.m. concert at Winchester Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive, as he spins a skein of ethnic sounds. Tickets are $5, $3 for seniors and kids under 12 at the door.
POOLSIDE WITH THE BEACH BUMS -- The second in Henderson's Splishin' and Splashin' Swinging Summer Concert Series brings the Beach Bums and their surfer music to the Black Mountain Aquatic Complex, 599 Greenway Road, at 7 p.m. Saturday. Audience members are invited to play sand volleyball, swim in the pool and enjoy a musical flashback. Admission is $6, $3 for kids under 17 and seniors 55 or older.
BY KIDS, FOR KIDS -- The Las Vegas Civic Symphony presents some of Las Vegas' finest young musicians at the Children's Pops Concert at 7 p.m. Saturday at Sammy Davis Jr. Festival Plaza in Lorenzi Park. The program is highlighted by Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf," with Nathan Tannenbaum telling the story, and Ferde Grofe's "Grand Canyon Suite." Admission is free. Seating is on the grass, so you'll want to bring along a blanket or sand chairs.
HONORING OL' JOE -- Jazz legend Joe Williams will be honored at 3 p.m. Sunday by the Radiant Faces Choir, under the direction of the Rev. James Britt. Admission is free to the production of "Serendipity" at First Church of Religious Science, 1420 E. Harmon Ave. An offering will be taken during the concert. For your invitation, call Mary, 739-8200.
Theater
SOMETHING WONDERFUL -- Travel to the court of the King of Siam tonight and Saturday at 8 p.m., or Sunday at 2 p.m., and revel in the marvelous music of "The King and I" at the Summerlin Library theater, 1771 Inner Circle Drive. The story of an English governess brought to Siam to tutor the king's countless children, she finds her most interested pupil is the king himself. Tickets are $15 to $22.50. COMING OUT -- New Vision Theater, a teen educational advocacy group, presents "Closet Space" at 7 p.m. Saturday in the theater at Whitney Library, 5175 E. Tropicana Ave. Written by ensemble member Daniel Bernardo, the play illustrates many of the problems that teens encounter as they make the decision to "come out" as gay or lesbian. Tickets are $3 at the door.

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE -- Bob Lilly, Jack Tatum and Rod Martin will sign autographs at the Sportscards, Beanie Babies and Collectibles Show this weekend at Sam's Town hotel-casino. Sports memorabilia, Hot Wheels, Star Wars and NASCAR collectibles are part of the mix. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and admission is free.
