William A. "Buddy" Albury, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 1, 1921, in Jacksonville, Fla. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired real estate broker and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; one daughter, Julie Anderson of Severna Park, Md.; two sons, Ronald Albury of Cincinnati and Randall Albury of Sydney, Australia; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled half an hour prior to the 3 p.m. services Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
ELLEN BOETTNER
Ellen Boettner, 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local convalescent hospital. She was born Jan. 11, 1914, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 39 years, she was a retired restaurant hostess.
She is survived by one daughter, Teri Bohannan of Las Vegas; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

JOHN R. CARL
John R. Carl, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 27, 1922, in Vandervoort, Ark. A resident for 10 years, he was a cook for a catering service and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by two sisters, Bernice Robinson and Muriel Gault; and one brother, David L. Carl.

TOMMIE R. DAVISON
Tommie R. Davison, 59, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born April 19, 1939, in Oklahoma. A resident for five years, he was director of maintenance/utilities for the federal government and a retired Vietnam War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; two sons, Robert and Charles; three daughters, Maria Pineda of Colorado, Donna Hendrix of Germany and Linda Luz Garcia of Spain; two sisters, Dixie Phelps and Judy Gourley, both of Oklahoma; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until the noon services Thursday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
EDWARD E. DEMAREE
Edward E. Demaree, 66, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born July 15, 1931, in Elaine, Ark. A resident for five years, he was a retired machinist in the aircraft industry and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys E.; two daughters, Sandra K. Ingraham of Everett, Wash., and Rebecca J. Carragher of Victorville, Calif.; three sisters, Marye Johnson of Pinehurst, N.C., Elizabeth Childs of Chicago and Olive Skoglund of Elaine, Ark.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
MARY ELIZABETH ELLIOTT
Mary Elizabeth Elliott, 81, of Nampa, Idaho, died Wednesday in a Nampa medical center. She was born Feb. 12, 1917, in Memphis, Tenn. A former Las Vegas resident, she and her husband were in the Air Force for 32 years, living all over the world until retiring in Las Vegas. She was an avid bridge player.
She is survived by two sons, Lt. Col. Lance Elliott of Georgia and Gary Elliott of Nampa; and three grandchildren.
Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa, is handling arrangements.

A memorial service for Gordon I. Fink, 44, Nevada's senior deputy attorney general, who died May 10, will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Congregation Ner Tamid, 2761 Emerson Ave.

Lorraine Hoffman, 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 20, 1925, in Chicago. A resident for 22 years, she was a jewelry designer for a retailer.
She is survived by one son, David Lisner of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

DELLA NADINE JOHNSON
Della Nadine Johnson, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born May 25, 1915, in Geneva, Neb. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Waynette Muir; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

FRANCES ANN KNOBLAU
Frances Ann Knoblau, 74, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 13, 1923, in San Francisco. A resident for nine years, she was a phone operator in the retail industry.
She is survived by one daughter, Lynn McCracken; and two grandchildren.

Kathie Helms, 57, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 9, 1940, in Douglas, Ariz. A resident for 22 years, she was a casino cashier cage supervisor.
She is survived by her husband, Lonnie; one son, Joseph Sorholus of Hayden, Colo.; two sisters, Betty Murdock of Arizona and Dorothy Jones of Reno; one brother, Tom King of California; and three grandchildren.

Guadalupe D Moreno, 65, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 18, 1932, in Durango, Mexico. A resident for 37 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Felix; two daughters, Irene Moreno of North Las Vegas and Modesta Escobar of Las Vegas; one son, Elio Moreno of North Las Vegas; one brother, Rafael Diaz of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Church of God, 2540 Belmont. Graveside services will be noon Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Patricia "Patti" Newhouse, 65, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in North Las Vegas. She was born May 12, 1933, in Faribault, Minn. A resident for five years, she was a retired liquor purchasing clerk.
She is survived by her life companion, Gloria Ann Richardson of North Las Vegas; two sons, Gary Newhouse of Vancouver, Wash., and Ron Newhouse of Anaheim, Calif.; one brother, Larry Lindenberg of Edmonds, Wash.; her ex-husband, Donald A. Newhouse of Yarnell, Ariz.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Mary Romanow of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born in Detroit. A resident for 10 years, she was a retail sales clerk.
She was preceded in death by one son, Rick Romanow.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, John; two daughters, Sharon McMullin of Las Vegas and Patricia Bosca of Shelby, Mich.; two sons, Joseph Romanow of Eastpointe, Mich., and David Romanow of Warren, Mich.; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

DONALD F. SPRAGUE
Donald F. Sprague, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born May 5, 1926, in California. A resident for 50 years, he was a truck driver and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Cora; one stepson, Charles Abbott of Alaska; two stepdaughters, Ida Johnston of Alaska and Marie Carter of Washington state; one sister, Jane Duncan of Anaheim, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. services Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Robert Lee Talbert, 71, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 22, 1927, in Washington, D.C. A resident for nine years, he was a retired federal government employee of 41 years, a World War II Navy veteran and past master of the F&AM and Eastern Star lodges of Los Angeles.
He is survived by his wife, Delores L.; one brother, Edward J. Talbert of Suitland, Md.; and one sister, Alma Sherman of Washington, D.C.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
JIMMY L. WALKER
Jimmy L. Walker, 59, of Sandy Valley died Monday in Sandy Valley. He was born May 17, 1939, in Jefferson County, Mo. A resident for five years, he was a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Debra; one son, Michael Walker of Colorado; two brothers, Ray Walker and Don Walker, both of Missouri; one sister, Jeannie Prado of Colorado; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Mary H. Waltemath, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born May 12, 1917, in California. A resident for three years, she was a grocery clerk.
She is survived by three daughters, Joan Hata and Doris, both of California, and Linda Wiley of Henderson; one brother, George Ojima of California; one sister, Doris Takenouchi; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. until the 6:30 p.m. services today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Thomas G. Walters, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born June 29, 1914, in Detroit. A resident for 31 years, he was a retired owner-operator of a real estate firm and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose.
He is survived by his wife, Lori; three daughters, Donna LaFave, Linda Montgomery and Laurie Clemens, all of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Sunday and noon-4 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Graveside services will be noon Tuesday in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
