Mary R. Armstrong, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born March 13, 1911, in Lawrence County, Miss. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by five sons, James Williams of Buffalo, N.Y., Levi Armstrong, James Edward Armstrong and Calvin Julious Armstrong, all of Silver Creek, Miss., and Willie J. Armstrong of Chicago; three daughters, Mable Holloway, Tressie Washington and Georgia R. Reed, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Ethel Robertson of Danville, Ill.; two sisters, Fannie Mae Hooker of Silver Creek and Novella Jefferson of Prentiss, Miss.; 23 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.
VIOLA MARY CRESPIN
Viola Mary Crespin, 66, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born May 10, 1932, in Logan, N.M. A resident for 29 years, she was a homemaker, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 10047 and St. Carmen's Catholic Society in Logan, N.M.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest; two sons, Steve Crespin of St. Albans, Vt., and Jimmy Ray Crespin of Las Vegas; one daughter, Brenda Crespin of Las Vegas; three sisters, Julia Gallegas of Santa Fe, N.M., Cleo Ramirez of Tucumcari, N.M., and Nellie Burrow of Dalhart, Texas; one brother, Joe Vigil of Tucumcari; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main.
MARY L. CONSTANZO DECARLO
Mary L. Constanzo DeCarlo, 66, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 25, 1931, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for 10 years, she did accounting at a construction company and was a member of St. Mary's Guild.
She is survived by one son, Tony J. DeCarlo of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; four daughters, Vicki DelGrosso, Dana Reiplinger and Valentina DeCarlo, all of Las Vegas, and Yvonne Vivian of Niagara Falls; two brothers, James Constanzo of Niagara Falls and Carl Constanzo of Sandy Valley; and seven grandchildren.
Mass is scheduled at 5 p.m. Friday at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Henrietta Eiteman, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 18, 1917, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Glen; one son, Curtis Crossland of Pennsylvania; one daughter, Peggy Kasper of California; one brother, Joe Hartwick; two sisters, Lavinia Beber of Michigan and May of Florida; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

GUY THOMAS FARMER
Guy Thomas Farmer, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 23, 1914, in Gainesville, Mo. A resident for 50 years, he was a mechanic for the Postal Service and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by three daughters, Dee Ann A. Starr of Las Vegas, Mona Kay Peake of Eureka, Calif., and Guylene Rae McMinton of Rio Del, Calif.; one son, James V. Gordon of Henderson; two sisters, Janelle Russell and Ethel Raines, both of Missouri; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Woodlawn Cemetery.
LARITA FULLER
Larita Fuller, 77, of Marietta, Ga., died Tuesday. She was born in St. Maries, Idaho. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a professional basketball player in Idaho.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy Diane Tonkovich of Fairbanks, Alaska; one son, Bob Fuller of Marietta; one sister, Gladys Wright of Las Vegas; several nephews; and five grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home, Marietta, is handling arrangements.

DON R. GEORGE
Don R. George, 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local convalescent center. He was born April 10, 1936, in California. A resident for 27 years, he was a telephone company installer and repairman and a veteran of the Navy Reserve.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna; one son, Darren George of California; two daughters, Debra Sommerfeld and Andrea George, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Ruth George, and one brother, Dale George, both of California.

JEROME J. GILLIS
Jerome J. Gillis, 68, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospice. He was born Feb. 5, 1930, in Beaver Dam, Wis. A resident for nine years, he was a retired Army chief warrant officer, a Korean War and Vietnam War veteran, a retired Army bandmaster who was employed by UNLV as performance manager at Artemus Ham Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth J.; three daughters, Diane Lidgard, Cynthia Hutchinson and Kristine Gillis, all of Henderson; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 9:15 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

CLELLA FRANCES GRAHAM
Clella Frances Graham, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 4, 1914, in Crocker, Mo. A resident for 47 years, she was a former member of the Garden Club and the Las Vegas Bridge Club.
She is survived by her husband, William; one son, William Graham Jr., and one daughter, Rebecca Fitzgerald, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

SHELLY LIN HAMPTON
Shelly Lin Hampton, 31, of Las Vegas died May 9 in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 24, 1966, in Denver. A resident for seven years, she was a doctor's office manager.
She is survived by her parents, Robert and Nancy Wellborn; one brother, Barry Wellborn; and one sister, Kristen Wellborn.

WILLIAM 'SONNY' HEATH
William "Sonny" Heath, 88, of Lorena, Texas, died Tuesday in Lorena. He was born June 13, 1909, in Hillsboro, Texas. A former Las Vegas resident from 1946 until 1973, he was instrumental in the opening of the Mint hotel-casino and in the operation of the Thunderbird and Sahara hotel-casinos.
He is survived by one sister-in-law, Grace Hayes of Waco, Texas; two nephews, William N. Heath of McGregor, Texas, and Clarence Heath of Lacy-Lakeview, Texas; four nieces, Pamela Obrien of Portland, Texas, Cheryl Weisman of Santa Fe, Texas, and Carmen Smith and Robin Health, both of Waco; numerous friends; 18 grand-nieces and grand-nephews and four great-grand-nieces and great-grand-nephews.
No local services are scheduled. Connally/Compton Funeral Directors, Waco, is handling arrangements.
DEREK DWAYNE HUBBARD
Derek Dwayne Hubbard, 30, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born March 20, 1968, in Pomona, Calif. A resident for one year, he was an Army veteran and a loan officer at SuperPawn.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Beverly J. and David L. Broughton of Las Vegas; two sisters, Rhonda Earl and Andrena Seals, both of Los Angeles; one stepsister, Deborah M. Goldberg of Las Vegas; and his grandmother, Edith Brown of Los Angeles.
Graveside services will be 10:45 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2121 Western Ave., Suite A-3, is handling arrangements.

SHELLEY DARNELL JOHNSON
Shelley Darnell Johnson, 46, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 23, 1952, in California. A resident for many years, she was a casino porter.
She is survived by two sons, Edward Johnson and Johnny Johnson, both of Las Vegas; and one sister, Beverly Thomas of California.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial will be private.
EDITH DELORES KAZER
Edith Delores Kazer, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. She was born Nov. 12, 1911, in Jamestown, N.Y. A resident for five years, she was a nurse.
She is survived by one daughter, Carole Farr of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

LYDIA MILLER LITTLER
Lydia Miller Littler, 89, of Boulder City died Saturday in Boulder City. She was born April 20, 1909, in Russia. A resident for 67 years, she was a retired hospital respiratory therapist and a member of the Boulder City 31ers.
She is survived by two sons, Otto J. Littler Jr. of Ignacio, Calif., and David Littler of Boulder City; one sister, Elsie Wellman of Denver; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Bethany Baptist Church, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
PATSY MOSS
Patsy Moss, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 4, 1927, in Gridley, Calif. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired supervisor supply technician for the federal government.
She is survived by her husband, Norman; two sons, Bruce Moss of Cypress, Calif., and Gregory Moss of Riverside, Calif.; one daughter, Barbara Powell of Apple Valley, Calif.; two sisters, Dolores Wilson of Mohave Valley, Ariz., and Maryann Donally of Cave Junction, Ore.; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until a 6 p.m. vigil today in Christ the King Church. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday in Christ the King Church. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Robert W. Patton, 63, of Laughlin died Saturday in Laughlin. He was born Aug. 13, 1934, in Pennsylvania. A resident for three years, he was a truck driver and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; one daughter, Kelly Patton of Arizona; two sons, Tom Patton and Bob Patton, both of California; and one sister, Boot Martin of Pennsylvania.

Barbara Emily Pederson, 86, of Las Vegas died May 5 in a local care center. A homemaker, she was born Feb. 19, 1912, in New York.

Randolph "Randy" Rayborn, 68, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 29, 1929, in Collins, Miss. A resident for 38 years, he was a retired hotel shipping and receiving clerk, a Korean War Army veteran and a member of Teamsters Local 995.
He is survived by his wife, Odie M.; one daughter, Billy Joyce Rayborn, and one son, Christian Rayborn, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Earnestine R. McGee of Collins and Rosa Hawthorn of Gulfport, Miss.; two brothers, the Rev. Glen Rayborn of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Wallace Rayborn of Jackson, Miss.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Josephine M. Russo, 92, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 17, 1905, in Dupont, Pa. A resident for 28 years, she was a retired waitress.
She is survived by one daughter, Gracie Scott of Las Vegas; and one stepsister, Anglia Kinlock of Whitesboro, N.Y.

Glen Thurmond, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 11, 1917, in Kilgore, Texas. A resident for 44 years, he was a retired furniture company truck driver and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by one daughter, Glenda Thurmond Skinner of Palm Desert, Calif.; one son, Robert Thurmond of Las Vegas; one sister, Zula Mae Thurmond of Texas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Terry Willard Trout, 76, of Pahrump died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 1, 1922, in Pueblo, Colo. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired warehouseman for an importer and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys; three daughters, Barbara Joan Heaver of Donder Lake, Ill., Chris Nicholl of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Terry Lee Holt of Pueblo; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the LDS Ward, corner of Wilson West. Graveside services will follow in Chief Tecopa Cemetery, Pahrump. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Jerome Weiss, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday. He was born July 14, 1924, in Detroit. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired trucking company owner and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Dorsey; two sons, Lee Weiss of Las Vegas and Dr. Jeffrey Weiss of Houston; and one grandchild.

Jeanette Willard, 71, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born June 11, 1926, in San Francisco. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired MGM Grand waitress.
She is survived by one brother, Edward Willard of Las Vegas.

SERENA MICHELLE WILLIAMS
Serena Michelle Williams, 38, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a Los Angeles hospital. She was born May 20, 1959, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was disabled.
She is survived by one son, Sie Parker Jr., and one daughter, Latanisha Hughey, both of Los Angeles; her father and stepmother, Marshall and Martha Marks, seven sisters, Lavern Williams, Shirley Williams, Dawn Wilson, Darla Marks, Felicia Easler, Angela Moore and Marsha Marks, and seven brothers, Roosevelt Williams, Wayne Williams, Kenneth Marks, Michael Marks, Donald Marks, Kevin Jackson and Michael Jackson, all of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 12:30 p.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
