Bishop Gorman graduate Matt Smith's dream season continued Tuesday, when the Oklahoma State pitcher received the Big 12's Freshman of the Year award. The left-hander, who also received second-team all-conference honors, is scheduled to start the Cowboys' first-round NCAA Western Regional game against Georgia Tech Thursday at Wichita State.
