Janice Viola Coleman, 57, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. She was born April 17, 1941, in Wichita, Kan. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Jack; three daughters, Lizzie Coleman and Nancy Coleman, both of North Las Vegas, and Jeri Jan Bravo of Elko; three sons, Jimmie Coleman II of San Diego and Jerry Jack Coleman II and Jesse Joel Coleman, both of Wichita; four sisters, Judy Francis and Peggy Patchet, both of Wichita, Sharon Rylant of Mulvane, Kan., and Rose Coleman of Hiawatha, Kan.; four brothers, J.C. Coleman of Denver and Donny Higgins, Larry Higgins and Billy Coleman, all of Wichita; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be noon Tuesday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

MARY CAROLINE COPELAND

Mary Caroline Copeland, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. She was born March 20, 1912, in Margaret, Texas. A resident for 30 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, James Copeland of Las Vegas; two daughters, Wynema Ladean Hainey of Chino Valley, Ariz., and Rena Carol Petrilli of Las Vegas; two sisters, Edna and Edith, both of Texas; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Tuesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

DOLORES GALUBINSKY

Dolores Galubinsky, 66, of Henderson died Saturday in a local convalescent hospital. She was born June 3, 1931, in Susanville, Calif. A resident for 24 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Charles J.; one daughter, Candy Payne of Las Vegas; one sister, Gloria Massey of Sandy Valley; two brothers, Ertie Libbee of Chico, Calif., and Lanier Libbee of Reno; and two grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

EILEEN P. HYNNE

Eileen P. Hynne, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 14, 1916, in Australia. A resident for 50 years, she was a seamstress at the Stardust hotel-casino.

She is survived by one son, Donald L. Thompson of Atwater, Calif.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.

ANNE LAUTENBACH

Anne Lautenbach, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 24, 1924, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for two years, she was a retired interior designer.

She is survived by her husband, Kurt Jr.; two sons, Edward Dahlke of El Segundo, Calif., and James Dahlke of Las Vegas; one daughter, Marilyn Booth of San Jose, Calif.; two sisters, Jean Tisby and Theresa Florek, and one brother, John Bembia, all of Buffalo; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

The family suggests donations to the Las Vegas Parkinson Support Group, 8504 Hearst Court, Las Vegas, NV 89117.

MARY MEYER

Mary Meyer, 84, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 2, 1914, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. A resident for two years, she was a retired bookkeeper and a lifetime member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence H.; two daughters, Joanne Giles of Henderson and Marilyn Exley of Littleton, Colo.; one brother, Robert Kahm of Lincoln, Neb.; four sisters, Lydia Andrus and Emma Shafer, both of Lincoln, Rose Derr of Omaha, Neb., and Dorothy Wyman of Tacoma, Wash.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

SHIRLEE A. SCHMIDT

Shirlee A. Schmidt, 30, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. She was born Aug. 19, 1967, in Phoenix. A resident for 30 years, she was a teacher's assistant in the computer lab at Community College of Southern Nevada, Henderson campus, and a member of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls.

She is survived by one daughter, Katlin Schmidt, and her parents, Richard and Mary Schmidt, all of Henderson; one brother, David Schmidt of Las Vegas; two sisters, Tammy Marinovich of Henderson and Marlene Jaramillo of Las Vegas; and her grandparents, Gene and Dottie Lahtinen, George and Irene Schmidt and Wilma Reno, all of Henderson.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Highland Hills Baptist Church, 615 College Drive, Henderson. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

WALLACE WILSON 'WALLY' SHEPARD

Wallace Wilson "Wally" Shepard, 74, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 24, 1923, in Cayuta, N.Y. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired executive chef, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by two sisters, Charolette Blood of San Diego and Viola Smith of Barstow, Calif.; two brothers, William Shepard of Cocolalla, Idaho, and Hilton Shepard of Billings, Mont.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until a 6 p.m. service Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Church services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Viator Catholic Church.

CHARLES E. VANHAUSEN

Charles E. Vanhausen, 50, of Las Vegas died May 10 in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 14, 1947, in New Jersey. A resident for 30 years, he was a maintenance supervisor and most recently employed at Mikohn Gaming Corp.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Rodriguez; one stepdaughter, Loynette Martinez, and one stepson, Jesus M. Martinez, both of Las Vegas; and his stepfather, Elwood Durham of New Jersey.

Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2121 Western Ave., Suite A-3, is handling arrangements.

MARGARET WRIGHT

Margaret Wright, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born June 5, 1922, in Junction City, Kan. A resident for more than 20 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie A. Wright of Las Vegas; two sons, Mac D. Wright and Travis Wright of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
