Mark Wade may have waited the longest, but he's not the only former UNLV basketball player who will obtain his degree at Saturday's commencement.
The 32-year-old Wade will be joined by Warren Rosegreen, Corky Ausborne, Grant Rice, Kevin James and Justin Thacker at the Thomas & Mack Center, as five of Bill Bayno's former players receive their diplomas.
Rosegreen, who completed his eligibility a year ago, will receive his Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice. Ausborne, who quit the team in early February so he could finish school on time, will receive his B.A. in communications. Thacker, a backup forward, will earn his degree in anthropology.
Rice, who is getting his B.A. in communications and James, who is getting his B.S. in sociology, finished their studies last December.
