Gold Coast hosts Black Tie Ball

The entertainment segment of the Black Tie Ball will feature Jed Profeta, who is the essence of Frank Sinatra. Jackie Conville's Sun City Dance Company will perform two dance numbers. Jim Pederson and Shelby Persons, champion dancers, will demonstrate the grace and beauty for which ballroom dancing is famous. the Sun City Dance Company will return to center stage to perform a Latin number, and a special presentation by the younger generation of "Retro," complete with '30s and '40s fashions. Bobby Dean Denny's solo performance will highlight the entertainment portion of the ball.

Larry taylor, who has the distinction of being the longest-running nightclub DJ in the city, will emcee the Black Tie Ball. Taylor has earned a reputation as both a concert producer and performer. His easy style and rapport with audiences make his Sunday afternoon and Tuesday night "tea dances" a favorite destination of many locals.

The Gold Coast has the largest permanent dance floor in Las Vegas. The sound and light system in the showroom was recently enhanced to provide customers with the finest entertainment setting availalbe. The showroom seats 500 and has two fully stocked bars.
