James Agee Jr., 9 days, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born April 21, 1998, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his parents, Lizette and James Agee, and one sister, Domenique Agee, all of North Las Vegas; and his grandparents, James Hartzfield, Edward and Margaret Sosa and Ada Morales, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-noon Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

JESSE MICHAEL ALTO

Jesse Michael Alto, 71, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born Jan. 1, 1927, in Mexico. A resident for eight years, he was a car dealer.

He is survived by one son, Richard Alto; one brother, Joseph Alto; two sisters, Josephine Gerhard and Renee Mardini; and one grandchild.

GEORGE WILLIAM ASBURY

George William Asbury, 75, of Las Vegas died April 10 in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 9, 1922, in Oklahoma. A resident for 30 years, he was a World War II Army veteran.

ORLENDA M. BUNCH

Orlenda M. Bunch, 52, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 28, 1945, in Tallulah, La. A resident for 34 years, she was a hotel linen room attendant.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; one son, Anthony T. Bunch, one daughter, LaTonya V. Bunch, and two sisters, Bobbie Watson and Percella Watson, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Alonza Watson of North Las Vegas and Robert Douglas of Tallulah; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-8 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Greater New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

MICHAEL C. CONSTANTINE

Michael C. Constantine, 44, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 15, 1954, in Massachusetts. A resident for many years, he was an apartment building manager.

He is survived by his parents, Russell and Dorothy Constantine of New York.

Burial will be in New York. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

AARON DEEG

Aaron Deeg, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 14, 1925, in Wisconsin. A resident for 15 years, he was a truck driver, an Army veteran and a member of the Masons.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannie; one son, Scott Deeg; five daughters, Toni Russell, Lynne Nepolis, Bonnie Anderlie, Robin Hastings and Kim Croteau; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at noon today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

MARIAN A. EGELUS

Marian A. Egelus, 83, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born April 25, 1915, in Dodgeville, Wis. A resident for 32 years, she retired from Sunrise Hospital in 1993 as a registered nurse after 27 years of service, served in the nursing field for 50 years and was a member of the National Operating Room Nurses Association.

She is survived by one daughter, Kay-Alynn "Kasey" Egelus of Long Beach, Calif.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

CAROL ANN EVANS

Carol Ann Evans, 44, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 1, 1954, in California. A resident for seven years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis E.; two sons, Dennis Neil Evans and Randall McCoy Evans, both of Las Vegas; her mother, Betty Chandler, and one brother, Ronald G. Chandler, both of California; and one grandchild.

Gina M. Gmeiner, 54, of Henderson died Monday. She was born Dec. 1, 1943, in the Philippines. A resident for 18 years, she was a retired casino change girl.

She is survived by her husband, James F.; one son, Raymond G. Perez of Las Vegas; her parents, Macario and Nieves Murillo, and one sister, Wendy Murillo, all of the Philippines.

Services will be 7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

RICHARD T. HAAS

Richard T. Haas, 44, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 5, 1954, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for nine years, he was a chef.

He is survived by three brothers, Robert C. Haas of Las Vegas, Raymond J. Haas of East Aurora, N.Y., and Randall J. Haas of Brownsville, Texas.

RHODA HAGADONE

Rhoda Hagadone, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born July 9, 1922, in Pactola, S.D. A resident for 23 years, she was a retired medical transcriptionist.

She is survived by two daughters, Lynn Porter and Mary Erlan, both of Las Vegas; one son, Don Tungate of Palm Springs, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Jaynie McNally of San Diego; two brothers, Roy Ringley of Sheridan, Wyo., and Howard Ringley of Cheney, Wash.; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 3 p.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Richard A. Henninger, 61, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 15, 1936, in Chicago. A resident for three years, he was a substitute teacher for the Clark County School District.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; and one sister, Judy DiPezzio.

WILLARD K. LAUB

Willard K. Laub, 60, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local convalescent center. He was born July 23, 1937, in Las Vegas. A resident for 50 years, he was an operating engineer, a Navy veteran and a member of Operating Engineers Local 12.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; four daughters, Annette Wharton, Tina Hall and Sandra Vosberg, all of Las Vegas, and Debbie Hemstreet of Henderson; one son, Casey Laub of Las Vegas; seven sisters, LaVerna Bringhurst-Johnson of St. George, Utah, Cleo Jackson of Needles, Calif., Kathryn Reilly of Kansas, Deanna Crowthers of Las Vegas, Emma Lea Dorris of California, Rosemarie Ferge of Hawaii and Tammy Dawson of Tennessee; four sons, Elvin Laub of Pahrump, Jeff Laub and Kenneth Laub, both of Las Vegas, and Eric Laub of Bunkerville; and six grandchildren.

NELLIE A. LINDSTEADT

Nellie A. Lindsteadt, 85, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born May 7, 1912, in Eden, Ariz. A resident for nine years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Fred; one son, Joe Lindsteadt of Las Vegas; one sister, Sybol Reagan of Calimesa, Calif.; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today and one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. RON LITTLEFORD SR.

Ron Littleford Sr., 68, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 27, 1929, in San Diego. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired electrician expeditor, a member of the American Bowling Congress, Southern Nevada Bowlers Association and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 357 and an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma; one daughter, Laurie Edemann of Sylmar, Calif.; five sons, Randy Littleford of Mission Hills, Calif., Dennis Littleford of Palmdale, Calif., Ron Littleford Jr. of Dunhill, Okla., and Gene Littleford and Charles Taylor, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Hubert Littleford of Indiana and Leon Littleford of Westlake Village, Calif.; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Charles Edward Malone Sr., 54, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 19, 1943, in Louisiana. A resident for five years, he was a waiter.

He is survived by one son, Charles Malone Jr., and one daughter, Tiffany Malone, both of Texas; three sisters, Muth Mericle of Louisiana, Cora Louis and Evelyn Derickson; and one grandchild.

PAUL MONTES SR.

Paul Montes Sr., 74, of North Las Vegas died Monday in North Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 25, 1924, in California. A resident for four years, he was a sheet metal worker in the aerospace industry.

He is survived by his wife, Rogelia; five sons, Larry Montes and Ben Montes, both of Las Vegas, and Paul Montes Jr., Tom Montes and Steve Montes, all of California; two brothers, Pete Montes of New Mexico and Emilio Montes of California; one sister, Mildred Gates of Missouri; and three grandchildren.

LAURIE PERRYMAN

Laurie Perryman, 36, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 30, 1962, in Iowa. A resident for 10 years, she was a casino cage cashier.

She is survived by two sisters, Joan Sloat of Las Vegas and Jane Perryman of Chicago.

MABLE ALMIRA PRANAITIS

Mable Almira Pranaitis, 78, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born July 12, 1919, in Williamston, Mich. A resident for two years, she was a retired retail clerk for 15 years.

She is survived by her husband, A.J.; one sister, Vivian Ganje of Waterford, Mich.; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

CORA LEE PRESTON

Cora Lee Preston, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. She was born March 19, 1918, in Waco, Texas. A resident for 32 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Cora Preston of Las Vegas and Lonia Preston-Jingles of Long Beach, Calif.; one son, Nathanel Preston of Louisville, Ky.; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

EDDIE ROBINSON

Eddie Robinson, 90, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born May 20, 1907, in Monroe, La. She was a homemaker and on the Mother's Board of The Victory M.B. Church.

She is survived by one son, Leonard Robinson of Chicago; one daughter, Mildred Williams of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 32 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to noon services Thursday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

MARY SOMMER

Mary Sommer, 84, of Henderson died April 24 in Henderson. She was born Jan. 31, 1914, in Trimountain, Mich. A resident for 13 years, she was a bank bookkeeper for 40 years.

She is survived by one daughter, Janet Davison of Henderson; four sisters, Florence Battista of Detroit, Sophie Burich of Las Vegas, Lillian Nuquist of Michigan and Agnes Erlandson of California; and two grandchildren.

Rosa Waters, 86, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born June 22, 1911, in Newellton, La. A resident for 27 years, she was a retired hotel housekeeper.

She is survived by three daughters, Janiesta Booker and Delzora Harper, both of Las Vegas, and Mary Louise Fields of Seattle; three sons, Randall Sims of Middletown, R.I., Warren Banks Jr. of Lawton, Okla., and Phillip Waters of Los Angeles; 35 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Main. Graveside services will be noon Friday in Memory Gardens.

Robert Dean Whitaker, 31, of Las Vegas died Monday. He was born Jan. 31, 1967, in Manassas, Va. A resident for 20 years, he was a highway patrol trooper.

He is survived by his wife, Martha; two sons, Alejandro Andres Whitaker of Las Vegas and Robert Dean Whitaker of Medford, Ore.; one daughter, Jennifer Nicole Whitaker of Medford; his father, Dean Whitaker, his mother and stepfather, Ruth and Alejandro Cobian, one brother, John Whitaker, and two sisters, Rose Ozuna and Elizabeth Pia, all of Las Vegas.

Carl Joseph Wilson Jr., 49, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 3, 1949, in Kellogg, Idaho. A resident for 14 years, he was a chef and a Vietnam War Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah; one daughter, Crystal Wilson; two sons, Carl Joseph Wilson of Rialto, Calif., and David Walter William Wilson of Las Vegas; his mother, Bette Lou Wiecek, and one brother, Robert Wiecek, both of Henderson; three sisters, Marla Klukovich of Henderson, Karla Jo Clark of Cambria, Calif., and Katherine Madlem of Carpinteria, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
