Sierra Front headquarters evacuated by fumes
Friday, March 27, 1998 | 10:31 a.m.
Four people were treated at medical facilities on Friday as a precaution.
It was determined that dry traps in the sewage lines and strong winds caused sewer gas to get into the building. The problem abated once water was added to the sewer system at the center.
The Sierra Front is located at the Douglas County airport and is most active during the summertime fire season.
