Letter: Be wary of candidate with all the answers
Thursday, March 26, 1998 | 10:50 a.m.
I am writing regarding the candidate who has been using the television screens almost as much as Ross Perot did in years past. I am speaking of Aaron Russo, who, like our old buddy, Ross, has all the answers to our state's problems.
In Russo's commercials, I have not noticed who is paying for them. Perhaps Russo, like Ross, is rich and paying these expenses out of his own pocket? It's a long way to Election Day. The dollar expense could amount to millions at the rate TV is being used to advertise.
It just makes you wonder: Could this be another would-be candidate who will grab his bat and ball and run home to mother?
