George Alexis Jr., 60, of North Las Vegas died Friday in North Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 18, 1937, in Reserve, La. A resident for 42 years, he was a laborer.
He is survived by five daughters, Shirley Rogers Davis, Demita Vinson, Anita Alexis, Crystal Graves and Shauna Alexis, and two sons, Herbert Rogers and Stanley Rogers, all of North Las Vegas; three brothers; two sisters; 28 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in True Love Baptist Church on H St. Graveside services will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
MICHAEL BERROYER
Michael Berroyer, 51, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 2, 1946, in California. A longtime resident, he was a craps dealer and a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by one brother, Steven Berroyer of Las Vegas.
Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
LUCILLE GRACE BRANDT
Lucille Grace Brandt, 77, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born May 23, 1920, in St. Louis. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Berle E.; one daughter, Donna Brandt-Simpleman of Chico, Calif.; two sons, Barry Brandt of Las Vegas and Lee Brandt of Highland, Calif.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Memory Gardens. Bunker Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
JAMES A. CABELL
James A. Cabell, 52, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. He was born Dec. 22, 1945, in California. A resident for 10 years, he was a publisher.
He is survived by his wife, Maria; two sons, James Cabell of California and Tony Catalan-Cabell of Henderson; two daughters, Wendy Cabell of California and Carla Catalan-Cabell of Henderson; and one sister, Terry Spranker of California.
Services were private. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
DANNY COOLEY
Danny Cooley, 61, of Las Vegas died March 9 in Las Vegas. A longtime resident, he was born Jan. 22, 1937.
Burial will be 9:30 a.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
JOHN M. COOPER
John M. Cooper, 52, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born April 18, 1945, in Glendale, Calif. A resident for nine years, he was a land developer.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; his parents, Marjorie and Melvin Cooper of Oceanside, Calif.; one sister, Pamela Sorlagas of Canyon Country, Calif.; one brother, Greg Cooper of Powder Springs, Ga.; and one grandchild.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
BONNIE DIGGETT
Bonnie Diggett, 51, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 12, 1947, in Cape May Court House, N.J. A resident for four years, she was a licensed practical nurse and a member of the Adult Care Association of Nevada.
She is survived by one daughter, Brandy Berfield of Lakewood, Calif.; two sons, Thomas Berfield of Las Vegas and John A. McElroy of Del Haven, N.J.; one sister, June Frame of Rio Grande, N.J.; two brothers, Howard Butler of Cape May Court House and David Butler of Wildwood, N.J.; and one grandchild.
Services are pending in New Jersey. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
EDWARD 'MOUSEY' A. GIBSON JR.
Edward A. "Mousey" Gibson Jr., 18, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 19, 1979, in Miami. A resident for 18 years, he was a restaurant porter and had gone to Chaparral High School.
He is survived by his father, Edward A. Gibson Sr., his mother, Delia Perez, and one sister, Margaret Gibson, all of Las Vegas.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
EILEEN GOULDING
Eileen Goulding, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born April 15, 1914, in Illinois. A resident for 22 years, she was a post exchange clerk.
She is survived by her husband, Hugh Sr.; two sons, Hugh Jr. of Panguitch, Utah, and Thomas of Massachusetts; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-4 p.m. Sunday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Monday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5485 E. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be 2:15 p.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

John E. Harris, 55, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born June 20, 1942, in New York. A resident for 10 years, he was a taxicab driver and a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice; one son, John Harris III of Las Vegas; two daughters, Hope Harris of New York and Renee Harris of Las Vegas; four brothers, Richard Harris, Ronald Harris, Donald Harris and Robert Harris, all of New York; three sisters, Carole Bennett and Patricia Causey, both of New York, and Anne Harrison of Arizona; and one grandchild.
Visitation was scheduled from 2 until a 4 p.m. chapel service today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 9:15 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
ANNIE JOHNSON
Annie Johnson, 78, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Feb. 18, 1920, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired state government custodian.
She is survived by three sons, Wayne Johnson and Karl Johnson, both of Henderson, and Warren Johnson of Pahrump; one daughter, Dolores Johnson of Phoenix; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 28369, Las Vegas, NV 89126.
ALICE ERNESTINE KEYES
Alice Ernestine Keyes, 60, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 5, 1937, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 19 years, she was a casino booth cashier.
She is survived by one son, Jimmy Keyes of Nevada; one daughter, Karol R. Keyes, and her mother, Henrietta McElroy, both of St. Louis; her father, John Evans, and one brother, Darly Evans, both of New Jersey; one sister, Janice Torry of Long Beach, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in the Guardian Angel Cathedral. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.
MARGUERITE KNICKERBOCKER
Marguerite Knickerbocker, 84, of Nelson died Sunday in a local convalescent hospital. She was born Dec. 13, 1913, in Fresno, Calif. A resident for 36 years, she was a retired division manager for department stores, active in the Searchlight Republican Women's Organization and the Young Astronauts Program and a member of the Las Vegas Astronomical Society.
She is survived by one daughter, Frieda M. McKenzie of Henderson; one son, Colin C. Mouat of Lancaster, Calif.; one sister, Louise Bayman of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Saturday in Nelson Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements. Her grandson, the Rev. Kenneth R. McKenzie of Lawson, Mo., will be officiating at her service.

MARIA MARAGNI
Maria Maragni, 71, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local health care center. She was born March 12, 1927, in Pacik, N.J. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Daniele; one son, Dominick Maragni of Hialeah, Fla.; one daughter, Rita Maragni of New York; and one grandchild.
Visitation was scheduled 1-5 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Graveside services will follow in Memory Gardens.
MARY ANN MARTIN
Mary Ann Martin, 93, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born July 14, 1904, in Wisconsin. A resident for nine years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Klarer and E. Fern Mathews; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is arranging private services.
GENEVA PREWITT
Geneva Prewitt, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. She was born Sept. 17, 1917, in Arkansas. A resident for four months, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Nathan Prewitt and Frank Williams; four daughters, Bernice Jordan, Geraldine Prewitt, Luella Prewitt and Dorothy Prewitt; two brothers, S.T. Phumphrey and Jim Phumphrey; two sisters, Daisy Cox Bullock and Elnora Scott; and 18 grandchildren.
Services will be in Arkansas. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
JASON R. QUE
Jason R. Que, 13, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Los Angeles. He was born April 23, 1984, in Riverside, Calif. A resident for 10 years, he was a Keller Middle School student.
He is survived by his parents, Menita and Nestor Que, one sister, Melissa Que, and one brother, Cassey Que, all of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Marina and Policarpio Que of San Jose, Calif., and Pacita Lagac of the Philippines.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Henrietta Rich, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born June 30, 1925, in Newark, N.J. A resident for 7 1/2 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Sanford; one daughter, Ellen Boydman of Sunrise, Fla.; one son, Mark Rich of Las Vegas; one sister, Blanche Bloomfield of Boca Raton, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
Services were 9 a.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements.
VICTORIA SEAMAN
Victoria Seaman, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. A resident for three years, she was born Sept. 15, 1924, in Romania.
She is survived by her husband, Charles "Bill"; four sons, Charles Seaman and Donald A. Seaman, both of Las Vegas, and Paul D. Seaman and John T. Seaman, both of California; one daughter, Carmen L. Seaman of California; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
JOSEPH ANTHONY TICHY
Joseph Anthony Tichy, 36, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born June 8, 1961, in Newark, N.J. A resident for eight years, he was an electrical supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbi Lyn; two daughters, Elisia Tichy and Angelica Tichy, both of Frackville, Pa.; one stepdaughter, Mickayla Romero of Las Vegas; her mother, Delores Tichy of Shenandoah, Pa.; her father, John Tichy of Newark; and one brother, Steven Tichy of Kutztown, Pa.
Mass was scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Holy Family Catholic Church, followed by a private burial. Bunker Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
EVELYN WATT
Evelyn Watt, 59, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A resident for 16 years, she was born June 16, 1938, in Jamaica, West Indies.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Adair and Janet Miller, both of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Ruby Jackson of Las Vegas and Olive Drains of Los Angeles.
