Letter: Race shouldn’t be factor in hiring

No Joe, this skeleton will stay in your closet until you stop using race as a factor in your hiring and compensation practices, especially when there is no history of previous discrimination. How would you and the board of regents have liked it if you were rejected for your jobs because of your race?
Anti-discrimination laws already exist. Your affirmative action policy sounds like discrimination to me.
