Letter: People must demand end to law enforcement abuses

I ask, when is enough, enough with the federal police?
At Ruby Ridge those lawyers with guns killed a women and a kid. The husband was charged, tried and acquitted. We now know the FBI lied in that case and the shooter may have to stand trial in Idaho.
At Waco, this same FBI was involved in a raid that ended up in the death of many innocent children.
In Atlanta, who can ever forget Richard Jewel, all alone, up against the federal gunslingers and the fastidious news media?
And most recently, the whole world saw the two frightened Las Vegas men in leg irons and handcuffs only to be released by a judge with no charges accepted by the court. A lot of federal cops from Ruby Ridge to Las Vegas got a lot of egg on their faces.
When will the citizens demand new laws out of Congress to put a stop to this citizen abuse?
Added to these bad Las Vegas arrests were the insults of the transplanted New York nincompoop-talking heads on KNXT radio, referring to the two innocent men as Laurel and Hardy, playing right into the hands of the FBI's unreliable informant.
No, I am not a member of the Army of God or the KKK. What I am is an old-time, retired Marine Corps captain who wonders what the hell is happening to our federal police?
