Three teens charged in fatal drive-by shooting

Metro Police were called Sunday after shots were fired near Maryland Parkway and Vegas Valley Drive. When officers arrived, they found Pichardo lying in the street with a gunshot wound to the chest, police said.
Witnesses told police Pichardo had been standing near the street when a van drove by. According to police, words were exchanged between the occupants of the van and Pichardo. Someone inside the van fired a gun, hitting the Las Vegas teen once.
The occupants in the van drove off. The van, which was reported stolen, was later found a short distance away by police.
Martin Meza, Armando Carrera and Caesar Valenzuela, all juveniles, were arrested and charged with murder, police said.
