Roller Hockey
Cimarron-Memorial High School captured this year's southern zone roller hockey title with a 7-2 victory over defending state champion Durango last weekend. Micah Sanford scored three goals to lead the Spartans' attack. Cimarron and Durango, along with Silverado and Bonanza, advance to the Nevada state tournament, scheduled for March 28-29 in Reno.
Valley Alumni Game
Valley High School is holding its second annual alumni versus varsity softball game, open to anyone who ever played softball for the Vikings. The entry fee is $20 and proceeds help support the school's softball program. For more information or for an entry form, call Andrea Liebl at 799-1189.
