Bush named director of Contemporary Arts Collective

Bush brings to the CAC extensive experience in arts organizations, and recently served as chair of the photography department at Villa Maria College in Buffalo, N.Y.

Bush relocated to Las Vegas eight months ago. She teaches photography at the Community College of Southern Nevada's Cheyenne campus and offers workshops in creative photo processes at other locations, including the CAC.

The Contemporary Arts Collective is a nonprofit, artist-run organization dedicated to the visual arts. Its purpose is to establish a network for serious arts to share contemporary concepts and ideas and to support their intellectual and creative endeavors.

The next CAC event is a juried show, "Naked Lunch." The show will exhibit March 20-April 25 at the CAC Gallery in the Arts Factory, 103 E. Charleston Blvd. The first prize is $1,0000 donated by Maureen and Jay Barrett.
