Nuclear activist involved in Reagan incident on book tour

Rick Paul Springer plans to return to Las Vegas next month to sign his book, "Excuse Me, Mr. President."
Reagan was showered with shards and startled but unhurt in the incident during the National Association of Broadcasters Convention at the Las Vegas Hilton.
Springer, who served 13 months in six different federal prisons after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of interfering with the Secret Service, is promoting is book with two appearances in Las Vegas.
The book addresses nuclear weapons testing, Springer's efforts to alert the public about them and his encounters with the realities of federal prisons.
