Bears defeat Thunder 2-1

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Scott Hollis and Grigori Panteleyev scored in the shootout to give the Orlando Solar Bears (33-23-9) a 2-1 win over the Las Vegas Thunder Sunday in front of 6,579 at the Orlando Arena.
The Thunder is winless in four starts, and drop to 27-31-7. Las Vegas took the lead in the first period with Trevor Roenick's power play goal.
Pat Neaton equalized to force the tiebreaker at 13:49 of the third.
The Orlando defense held Las Vegas to only 12 shots in regulation. Goalie Allan Bester made 11 saves before the final buzzer, and held the Thunder scoreless in the shootout. Manny Legace stopped 36 of 37 for the Thunder.
