Geraldine Ellen Brown, 54, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born July 15, 1943, in Pennsylvania. A resident for five years, she was a snack shop owner.
She is survived by her husband, Nelson Wong; and two sons, James Simpsey of Pennsylvania and Danial Simpsey of New Jersey.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
KENA MARIA CORBETT
Kena Maria Corbett, 16, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Henderson. She was born Oct. 15, 1981, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a high school student, a member of the Dance Club at Eldorado High School and attended Hallelujah Christian Fellowship.
She is survived by her parents, James and Elizabeth Corbett, and three brothers, Stavan Corbett, Shawn Corbett and Caleb Corbett, all of Las Vegas; and her grandparents, Mary T. Flores and Joe De La Huerta, both of Las Vegas, Kena Kane Corbett of Mastic Beach, N.Y., and Fred Corbett of Florida.
Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in the Hallelujah Christian Fellowship. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

DAVID CORDERO
David Cordero, 61, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 22, 1936, in New York City. A resident for three years, he was a retired city government carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Jennie; two daughters, Elaine Flores of Miami and Debra Marie Ahmed of Las Vegas; one son, Derrick David Cordero of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
The family suggests donations to the Southern Nevada Amputee Support Group.
DORIS M. CURRIER
Doris M. Currier, 61, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 26, 1936, in International Falls, Minn. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired hotel waitress and a member of the Culinary Union.
She is survived by one daughter, Cindy Gerdes of Prior Lake, Minn.; five sons, Terry Maloney of West St. Paul, Minn., and Randy Maloney, James Maloney, Kevin Maloney and Kenneth Peterson, all of Las Vegas; and 13 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Nathan Adelson Hospice Chapel. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
CHARLIE M. EHNINGER III
Charlie M. Ehninger III, 45, of Henderson died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born March 5, 1952, in the Panama Canal Zone. A resident for five years, he was a Vietnam War Air Force veteran and a student at UNLV's College of Architecture.
He is survived by his wife, Yoko; two daughters, Cathrine Harris of Fort Eustis, Va., and Stephine Ehninger of Henderson; one son, Monty Ehninger of Henderson; his mother and stepfather, Mildred Aileene and Charles Oelkers of Pleasanton, Texas; one sister, Diana Ehninger Hindt of Katy, Texas; four brothers, Richard M. Ehninger and Eric W. Ehninger, both of San Antonio, Robert G. Ehninger of Gulfport, Miss., and David E. Ehninger of Duncan, Okla.; and one grandchild.
A memorial service was scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Central Christian Church. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
JEAN MARIE GALLERY
Jean Marie Gallery, 67, of Las Vegas, died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 29, 1930, in the Bronx, N.Y. A resident of Las Vegas for one year and a former Henderson resident of 11 years, she was a registered nurse for more than 35 years specializing in psychiatric and substance abuse care, a nurse for the Veterans Administration and a member of the American Nursing Association.
She is survived by her husband, Terry; one daughter, Irene Hendricks-Jones of Henderson; two sons, Christopher Hendricks of Pennsylvania and William Hendricks of Dallas; two stepdaughters, Patricia Gallery of Ellenville, N.Y., and Cheryl Vanvlack of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; two stepsons, Terry Gallery Jr. and William Gallery, both of Pine Bush, Fla., and 10 grandchildren.
Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangement.

Maye Gilitsky, 89, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 5, 1908, in Rochester, N.Y. A resident for 20 years, she owned and operated a dry cleaning establishment.
She is survived by one daughter, Lynn Raizin of Las Vegas.
Graveside services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Eden Vale Memorial Park. Bunker Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
JOHN TIMOTHY GROGAN
John Timothy Grogan, 76, of Boulder City died Friday in a local hospital. He was born May 20, 1921, in Loveland, Colo. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired heavy equipment operator at an Army hospital and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia E.; two daughters, Joyce Y. Larson of Boulder City and Joanne L. Grogan of Denver; two sons, Charles W. Grogan of Lakewood, Colo., and Gary R. Grogan of Henderson; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

KAYLAN BRIANNA HANSON-PASSMORE
Kaylan Brianna Hanson-Passmore, 3 months, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 18, 1997, in Las Vegas.
She is survived by her father, Steven O. Hanson; her mother, Michelleen Passmore; and one brother, Cody Brennan Ferrell-Passmore.

NORMAN PUTNAM JARVIS
Norman Putnam Jarvis, 75, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born June 7, 1922, in Kentucky. A resident for 12 years, he was a personnel administrator for Rockwell International and a World War II and Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Ann; and two sons, Scott Jarvis and Paul Jarvis, and two daughters, Christine Pull and Patricia Amiel, all of California.
No local services are scheduled. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
CURDENE JOHNSON
Curdene Johnson, 63, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 13, 1935, in Paris, Texas. A resident for nine years, she was a member of the Ladies Advocating Christian Entertainment.
She is survived by one daughter, Tamara Tucker of Atlanta; one son, Elmo Frazier of Texarkana, Texas; one brother, Curtis Reed of Los Angeles; two sisters, Annie Swan of Las Vegas and Edith Mitchell of Amarillo, Texas; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Boulevard Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
RUTH ELEANOR JONES
Ruth Eleanor Jones, 91, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born June 8, 1906, in Hartline, Wash. A resident for two years, she was a public health nurse in education.
She is survived by one sister, Esther K. Jones; and one niece, Nancy R. Donahue.
FRED W. KELLNER
Fred W. Kellner, 83, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born May 31, 1914, in Hammond, Ind. A resident for 23 years, he was a UNLV graduate, a retired Army lieutenant colonel and World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran and recipient of the Silver Star for valor.
He is survived by his wife, Betsy; one daughter, Elise Toohey of San Angelo, Texas; one stepson, Don Schenk of Las Vegas; two stepdaughters, Dian Schoville of Spokane, Wash., and Karen Asadi of Peoria, Ariz.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A nicheside service will be 9:15 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Bunker Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
JAMES KING SR.
James King Sr., 70, of Sandy Valley died Saturday in Sandy Valley. He was born Sept. 5, 1927, in Lowell, Mass. A resident for 9 1/2 years, he was a retired 23-year police officer for Barstow, Calif., and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen "Kay" of Sandy Valley; two sons, James King Jr. of California and Jeffrey King of Las Vegas; two daughters, Katie King of California and Barbara Flugum of Oregon; two brothers, Thomas King of New Hampshire and Neil King of Massachusetts; one sister, Lois Garber of New Hampshire; and four grandchildren.
Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
DOROTHEA LAFOND
Dorothea LaFond, 86, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 17, 1911, in Minnesota. A resident for 41 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Charles LaFond of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in Bunker Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. A rosary will be 6 p.m. Wednesday in Bunker Chapel. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Bunker Chapel. Burial will be in Minnesota.
RHONDA L. LASS
Rhonda L. Lass, 66, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A resident for eight years, she was born Feb. 8, 1932, in Southgate, Calif.
She is survived by two sons, Kevin A. Prescott and Paul E. Lass Jr., her mother, Lenore F. Larity, one brother, Robert T. Larity, and one sister, Diane Weaver, all of California; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
FLOYD RICHARDSON
Floyd Richardson, 74, of North Las Vegas died Feb. 22 in a local care center. He was born July 2, 1923, in Keene, N.H. A resident for six years, he was a retired security investigator and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Therese; and two sisters, Geraldine Burnham of Pittsfield, Maine, and Elaine Clark of Redmond, Ore.

GUADALUPE RUIZ
Guadalupe Ruiz, 80, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local health care center. She was born June 18, 1917, in Juarez, Mexico. A resident for 17 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Ignacio, Antonio and Gustavo Ruiz; three daughters, Maria Terrell, Margarita Ruiz and Francisca Ruiz; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

AARON ANDREW SZALANSKI
Aaron Andrew Szalanski, 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born Oct. 16, 1931, in New York. A resident for five years, he was a sheet metal worker.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; and one son, Aaron Andrew Szalanski.

Charles Uftring, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born April 20, 1922, in Germany. A resident for seven years, he was a general contractor in the housing industry.
He is survived by his wife, Frances M.; one son, George C. Uftring of Las Vegas; one brother, Albert Uftring of New York; and two grandchildren.
