Marie Adams, 19, was also sentenced to probation and must perform community service.
Adams pleaded guilty in April to felony child neglect charges for the Feb. 9 death of her baby girl, born in the bathroom in her Henderson home.
She told the court then that she had planned to put the baby up for adoption and never told her parents of the pregnancy. Adams said she panicked when she gave birth unexpectedly and left the baby in a bag in the closet.
The infant either suffocated or bled to death, according to autopsy reports.
A therapist testified that Adams has a learning disability and was under great stress at the time of the birth.
