Police were called to a residence at 7:22 p.m. on a report of a shooting.
Officers and paramedics found an 18-year-old girl dead on the living room floor. The victim appeared to have been shot several times. A 16-year-old female suspect was taken into custody in front of the residence.
Police said both teens had been visiting at the house.
Witnesses told police the victim and the suspect knew each other, and that there had been a conflict over a boyfriend. A 17-year-old male jumped through a bedroom window during the shooting. He was treated and released at a Las Vegas hospital.
The victim's identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The 16-year-old girl has been booked for murder with a deadly weapon.
