Cheri Mari Delongpri, 27, of Sparks, was reported missing by a friend around 9:30 p.m. Sunday when she did not return to their vehicle parked near Dog Valley Road.
Delongpri apparently became disoriented while hiking, but managed to find her way out of the mountains, the Washoe County Sheriff's Office said.
She arrived early Monday at Davies Camp in California, where she was assisted by other campers.
Despite her ordeal, she was in good shape and good spirits, authorities said.
