Cathrine Ellen Van Ausdoll, 48, of Las Vegas died June 18 in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 16, 1949, in California. A resident of six months, she was a telephone operator.
She is survived by her father, Jack F. Wade; one son, David R. DePiano; and two brothers, Tim Wade and Doug Wade.
Arrangements were handled by Desert Memorial Cremation & Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd.
MARY NANCY FANARIS
Mary Nancy Fanaris, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday at a local care center. She was born Feb. 23, 1919, in Shawnee, Kan. A resident of 13 years, she was a computer operator at Sears and a choir member of St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, James; one daughter, Anthenette Fanaris of Las Vegas; one son, James Fanaris of Redding, Calif.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Saturday at Memory Gardens.
FABIAN LAUNA GOODE
Fabian Launa Goode, 39, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 11, 1959, in California. A resident of six months, he was a mechanic.
He is survived by his mother, Belah Harris of Las Vegas; one brother, Kosta Puolopoulos of California; and one sister, Babbette Poulopoulos of Las Vegas.
Arrangements were handled by Hites Funeral Services Inc., 438 W. Sunset Road. Burial will be in Rose Hills California Memorial Park.
JEROME BERTMAN JAYNES
Jerome Bertman Jaynes, 60, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 24, 1938, in Iowa. A resident of seven months, he was a truck driver and a veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Cherie L.
Arrangements were handled by Hites Funeral Services Inc., 438 W. Sunset Road. The burial will be in Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, Calif.
PEDRO JOSE MANCHA
Pedro Jose Mancha, 34, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born March, 5, 1964, in the Philippines. A resident of 15 years, he was a laborer.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; his parents Jesus and Esther Mancha, two sons, Pedro Jose Mancha Jr. and Jesus Mancha, and one daughter, Bridget Ann Michelle Arlene Mancha, all of Henderson; seven brothers, Michael Strunks of Florida, Kevin Mancha, Roy Mancha and Paul Mancha, all of Henderson, Jesse Mancha of California and Mark Mancha and David Mancha, both of Las Vegas; and one sister, Esther Mancha of Henderson.
Visitation will will continue until 8 p.m. today at Hites Funeral Chapel, 438 W. Sunset Road. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Neighbor Church, Henderson. Burial will be at Boulder City Cemetery.
CARL EDWARD MARLER SR.
Carl Edward Marler Sr., 65, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday at a local hospital. He was born Dec. 12, 1932, in Akron, Ohio. A resident of 11 years, he was a truck driver for the federal government, an Army veteran, a member of the DAV, the VFW and Blind Veterans Association.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; five sons, Tony McGinnis of North Las Vegas, William Marler and Carl Marler Jr., both of Las Vegas, Wayne Marler of Virginia and Clifton Marler of Florida.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Bunker Chapel.
RAYMOND PREBLE MAYO
Raymond Preble Mayo, 71, of Las Vegas died Thursday at a local hospice. He was born April 1, 1927, in Oklahoma. A resident of seven years, he was a U.S. Customs supervisor and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; three daughters, Michele Dayton, Elizabeth Mayo and Theresa Mayo; one sister, Betty Dalton; and one grandchild.
Arrangements were handled by Desert Memorial Cremation & Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
GUSTAVO PEREZ
Gustavo Perez, 50, of Las Vegas died Tuesday at a local hospital. He was born Dec. 30, 1947, in Cacatecas, Mexico. A resident of 14 years, he was a utility porter in a hotel.
He is survived by his wife, Elena; two daughters, Tasha Perez of Eureka, Calif., and Belia Perez of Las Vegas; one son, Hugo Perez of Las Vegas; his parents, Sabastian and Maria Luisa Perez of Las Vegas; four sisters, eight brothers and one grandchild.
Visitation was scheduled 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Rosary will be 6 p.m. Friday at Palm. A prayer service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Palm, followed by graveside services at Woodlawn Cemetery.
ILA JEAN PERRY
Ila Jean Perry, 63, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 14, 1943, in Florida. She was a resident for 40 years.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Sr.; two sons, Kenneth Perry and Stephen Perry Jr., both of Las Vegas; one daughter, Audra April Garcia of Henderson; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be noon to 7 p.m. Sunday at Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Visitation will continue at 8 a.m. until noon services Monday at Davis. Burial will be at Paradise Memorial Gardens.
ARTHUR W. PETERSON
Arthur W. Peterson, 80, of Las Vegas died Wednesday at a local hospice. He was born Oct. 9, 1917, in Biwabik, Minn. A resident of 13 years, he was a retired engineer for the government and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine; and one brother, Norman T. Peterson of Plymouth, Minn.
Arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
RAY RICHARD PLUCINSKI
Ray Richard Plucinski, 72, of Las Vegas died June 16 in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 11, 1925, in Armstrong Creek, Wis. A resident of 23 years, he was a manager of a sand and gravel company and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Claudia Krause of Merrill, Wis.; one sister, Clare Martinez of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Arrangements were handled by Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
SCOTTIE L. RODGERS
Scottie L. Rodgers, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday at a local hospital. He was born Jan. 23, 1920, in Oklahoma. A resident of 66 years, he was a retired plumber and pipe fitter, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Masons, Scottish Rite Bodies and the Zelzah Shrine Temple.
He is survived by one daughter, Sandra Robison of Las Vegas; one son, Jimmie R. Rodgers of Las Vegas; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday Palm. Burial will follow.
CRAIG NORVAL SOLOMAN
Craig Norval Soloman, 64, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 29, 1933, in Salt Lake City. A resident of 53 years, he was a retired firefighter.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene Solomon; two sons, Lyle Solomon of Rocklin, Calif., and Carl Solomon of Henderson; one daughter, Kathy Nash of Las Vegas; two brothers, Scott Solomon of Las Vegas and Ned Solomon of Logandale; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Tuesday at the LDS Smoke Ranch Ward. Burial will be at Mesquite City Cemetery.
GLEN DALE STOVALL
Glen Dale Stovall, 51, of Las Vegas died June 18. He was born March 7, 1947, in Hereford, Texas. A resident of 35 years, he was an auto mechanic and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; two sons, Joseph Stovall and Josh Stovall, both of Las Vegas; his parents, Calvin and Viola Stovall, two brothers, Wayne Stovall and Melvin Stovall, and two sisters, Darlene Stovall and Elaine Stovall, all of Texas.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Affordable Cremation & Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
