Pauline Caballero, 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 11, 1931, in New Hampshire. A resident for 28 years, she was a casino change person.

She is survived by her husband, Fred M.; and two sons, Fred M. Caballero of Las Vegas and Edward W. Caballero of Texas.

Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

MARIAN T. CORDOVA

Marian T. Cordova, 59, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 14, 1938, in Los Angeles. A resident for eight years, she was an accounts receivable clerk for an air conditioning supply company, a volunteer for the Jean Nidetch Women's Center and the Greater Las Vegas Inner-City Games.

She is survived by one daughter, Jojo Findley of Las Vegas; one sister, Gracie Castilla of Los Angeles; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until a 7 p.m. service today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Memory Gardens.

The family suggests donations to the Greater Las Vegas Inner-City Games or the American Diabetes Association, 2785 E. Desert Inn Road, Suite 140, Las Vegas, NV 89121.

ROBERT A. GRINNELL

Robert A. Grinnell, 66, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. He was born July 27, 1931, in Burlington, Iowa. A resident for 43 years, he was a retired printer.

He is survived by three daughters, Margaret Rose Grinnell of Fennimore, Wis., and Elizabeth Brown and Kim Jensen, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Tracy Grinnell and Mark Dwiggins, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Dorothy Malloy of Burlington; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, Cheyenne, is handling arrangements.

PAULINE E. LISTER

Pauline E. Lister, 89, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born April 15, 1909, in Courtland, Ala. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Susan Andrews of Las Vegas; two sons, James Lister of Laguna Niguel, Calif., and Paul Lister of Eureka, Ill.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday in University United Methodist Church. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

LAWRENCE MORELL

Lawrence Morell, 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born May 25, 1924, in Ohio. A resident for six years, he was a GTE communications machinist.

He is survived by his wife, Violet; one son, Gary Morell of California; and two grandchildren.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

WILLIAM RICE PARKER

William Rice Parker, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born May 20, 1914, in Jacksonville, Fla. A resident for six years, he was a retired Navy chief warrant officer and World War II veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge of Vista, Calif.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy L. of Las Vegas; three sons, Mark William Parker of San Diego, Timothy Jon Parker of Cupertino, Calif., and Kenneth Dale Parker of Corvallis, Ore.; three sisters, Chobee Bateman, Lee Hansel and Lenor McCleod, and one brother, Zeb Parker, all of Arcadia, Fla.; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until a 6 p.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

GERTRUDE PERDON

Gertrude Perdon, 56, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. She was born May 12, 1942, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 29 years, she was a dog groomer.

She is survived by four brothers, Seymour Raizin, Daniel Raizin, Pinkus Raisin and Joseph Raizin, all of Las Vegas; and six sisters, Sylvia Groshans, Ruth Mitchell, Adele Challenor and Esther Raizin, all of Las Vegas, and Minnie Pugliesi and Judy Krosinsky, both of New York.

Services were private. Burial was in Eden Vale Memorial Park. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.

STEPHEN E. POLLARD

Stephen E. Pollard, 59, of Las Vegas died Friday in New York City. He was born March 21, 1939, in Denver. A resident for 51 years, he was a probation officer for Clark County Juvenile Services, former commodore of the Sailing Club and former member of the Sierra Club.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; one daughter, April Pollard, his mother, Betty Pollard, and two brothers, Gene Pollard and Gary Pollard, all of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Thursday in St. Viator Catholic Church. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

ELIZABETH JANE SCOTT

Elizabeth Jane Scott, 83, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A resident for nine years, she was born Nov. 23, 1914, in Indianapolis.

She is survived by one son, Robert D. Scott of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; one daughter, Rosemary McClure of Socorro, N.M.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

TOM VALENTIC

Tom Valentic, 83, of Pahrump died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 11, 1915, in Verona, Pa. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired Clark County firefighter, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, a member of the Eagles of Verona and the Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Ann; one daughter, Carole Haugen of Las Vegas; one son, Thomas Wayne Valentic of Ketchikan, Ala.; two brothers, Rudy Valentic of Holiday, Fla., and Paul Valentic of Redding, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

JAMES WELLMAN JR.

James Wellman Jr., 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 2, 1917, in Ceredo, W.Va. A resident for 47 years, he was a retired carpenter, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by one daughter, Jimmie Renea Walker, one son, Kenneth Wellman, and one brother, Howard Wellman, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Margie Figliro of San Diego, Mary Clatter of Louisville, Ky., and Opal McArtt of Taylor, S.C.; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. Tuesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11:30 a.m. services Wednesday in the LDS Spring Mountain Ward. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
