The UNLV Athletic Department will honor the 1998 national champion UNLV golf team on Saturday at the Fremont Street Experience and Golden Nugget Hotel.

The festivities will begin with the 1998 National Champion Rebel Golf Procession, which begins at 3 p.m. at the corner of Fourth Street and Fremont Street and will finish at First and Fremont with a short program on the stage.

Following the procession at approximately 4:30 p.m. will be a championship reception in the Bel-Air Room at the Golden Nugget with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a video presentation.

The events are open to the public with championship reception tickets being sold at the door for $10. For more information please call 895-4411.
