The party left Panaca on Tuesday and was to arrive in the Lund-Preston area southwest of here on Saturday, the Ely Daily Times reported.
The pilgrimage consists of 19 covered wagons, some homemade, and 80 mounted riders covering a trail that symbolizes the route traveled by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from St. George, Utah.
The celebrants expect more participants to join the caravan as it moves toward Lund to observe the centennial with religious and secular events leading up to the annual Pioneer Days observances July 24-25.
