Faye A. Bordewick, 85, of Atchison, Kan., died Friday in Atchison. She was born July 17, 1912, in Jenkins, Mo. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a member of the Moose and Elks lodges, the Good Sam's RV Club, enjoyed art, dancing, horseshoes and playing cards.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald B.; two daughters, Linda Higley of Atchison and Dawnia Clements of Anchorage, Alaska; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Homes, Atchison, is handling arrangements.
ELIZABETH M. DIDYOUNG
Elizabeth M. Didyoung, 85, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. She was born March 10, 1913, in Mahoney City, Pa. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Lillian Brown of California; three sons, John C. Davidson and Clyde Didyoung, both of Las Vegas, and Walter Didyoung of Falwall, Texas; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. services Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
FRANCES ELEANOR LEWIS
Frances Eleanor Lewis, 85, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 20, 1912, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 41 years, she was a homemaker, a graduate of the University of Utah and a charter member of the Delta Chapter of National Cappo Cappo Gamma.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Lewis of Texas and W. Edward Lewis of Massachusetts; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services today in Griffith United Methodist Church, 1701 E. Oakey Blvd. Burial will be in Salt Lake City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
ORVILLE LOUIS MASTERS
Orville Louis Masters, 53, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 14, 1944 in Louisville, Ky. A resident for 22 years, he was a stagehand, a Vietnam War veteran, a member of International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local 720 and the Stallion Mountain Country Club.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah; two sons, Brian Masters and Rod Masters, and one daughter, Jessica Masters, all of North Las Vegas; his mother, Dorothy Kennedy, and two brothers, Robert Masters and Richard Masters, all of Louisville; three sisters, Alma Whalen and Terri Lee, both of Louisville, and Sandra Lipscomb of Elizabethtown, Ky.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in American Cremation and Burial Services, 310 Foremaster Lane.
FLORA MAE MCDANIEL
Flora Mae McDaniel, 79, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Moss Beach, Calif. She was born Aug. 20, 1918, in Iowa. A resident for more than 10 years, she was an elder at River of Life Church, a chaplin at UMC and did volunteer work during her retirement through her ministry.
She is survived by two sons, Michael McDaniel of San Mateo, Calif., and Mark McDaniel of Half Moon Bay, Calif.; one brother, Clark Johnson of Kentucky; and one sister, Kay Gardner of Salinas, Calif.
Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Tuesday in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.
MAN MCJOY
Man McJoy, 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born June 11, 1913, in Lake Village, Ark. A resident for 31 years, he was a hotel porter.
He is survived by his wife, Edna B.; four sons, Major McJoy of St. Louis, Earnest Green of Las Vegas and Colbert Lee McJoy and Darnell McJoy, both of North Las Vegas; seven daughters, Christine G. Fields and Betty Jean McJoy, both of North Las Vegas, and Irene Jones, Josie McJoy-Rogers, Rose McJoy-Talley, Barbara Jean Mikell ad Jacqueline McJoy-Brown, all of Las Vegas; 37 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Tuesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Greater New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
SEYMOUR P. SADEV
Seymour P. Sadev, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born July 12, 1913, in New York City. A resident for 19 years, he was a retired owner-operator of a wholesale business.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys; and two daughters, Linda Sadev of Las Vegas and Cathi Lance of Escondido, Calif.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
