The true Catholic charities of Southern Nevada have served the community for 57 years, beginning with Social Service and adoption services in 1941. Under the auspices of Bishop Daniel Walsh, it has now grown to 20 programs. This was the intended beneficiary of the Sinatra family's request for memorial gifts.

Michael Husted, executive director or Charles Desiderio, director of public and community relations will be happy to provide the public with additional information. Also, their website, www.catholiccharities.com, will provide more information about it, including the fact that it is the largest private nonprofit social services provider in the state, which touches the lives of more than 9,000 people per day, without regard to their religious faith.
