Children’s Summer Concert Series

Lenny Graf in Performance brings singer/songwriter/impressionist Graf to the stage at Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush St., at 2 p.m. July 8, with his Noise and Gadgets Machine, powered tenor sax and jazz flute. Graf's concert will be repeated at 2 and 7 p.m. July 10 at Reed Whipple Center, 821 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Cuentos de la Familia, presented in English and Spanish, is a series of family fables, reminding listeners that what's learned in the home is what shapes and guides us through life. The tales are told at 2 p.m. July 15 at Charleston Heights Arts Center and 2 and 7 p.m. July 17 at Reed Whipple Center.
Katherine Kramer's "Tap Roots" uncovers the roots of tap dancing through dance, music, storytelling and audience participation. The show will be presented at 2 p.m. July 22 at Charleston Heights Arts Center and 2 and 7 p.m. July 24 at Reed Whipple Center.
"Masked Marvels & Wondertales" is Michael Cooper's one-man extravaganza featuring handcrafted masks, original stories of courage and wonder and outlandish stilt-dancing. See it at 2 p.m. July 29 at Charleston Heights Arts Center and 2 and 7 p.m.July 31 at Reed Whipple Center.
