Second drowning in as many days at Lake Mead Recreation Area

The boy's body was recovered Monday night in 15 feet of water near Government Wash. He was flown by Flight for Life helicopter to University Medical Center, were he was pronounced dead.
The name of the youth was not released pending notification of relatives.
Sunday evening, James Robertson, 24, of Culver City, Calif. drowned after jumping off a cliff at Lake Mohave.
National Park Service spokeswoman Karen Whitney said Robertson died when he jumped from a 40-foot cliff on the Arizona side of Lake Mohave, in the Lake Mead Recreation Area.
